But if you’re posting your artsy film on YouTube, and working with YouTube’s “retention rules” doesn’t that mean you can’t make your film the way you intend?   We honestly don’t know if YouTube is a good or bad place for new filmmakers, but we wanted to explore these ideas with Sven Pape. He has edited films that have been to Sundance and Cannes, but he is best known for his YouTube channel ThisGuyEdits.
