Get ready for the new Brand Center and helpful tools to standardize your SharePoint sites and content you create in Microsoft 365. The Brand Center will begin rolling out capabilities, starting with custom font packages that match your internal brands. As with all new things in M365, the first release is limited in capability. The Website tab in Teams channels is changing to reduce support for displaying sites within the Teams app. The community feedback suggests this will impact a number of ways that organizations work. It has been a way to bring useful sites into "the hub for teamwork." Now, some of those sites will have to just launch in a separate browser.

Microsoft is extending the reach of Copilot experiences to the Windows 10 desktop. There are still tens of thousands of computers running Windows 10. If you've been out of the loop for a while, there's a new way to work with tasks in Microsoft 365. But don't worry, it still connects to your favourite task management apps, Planner and ToDo. When you share a document from OneDrive, expect to see a simplified user experience with fewer choices to make. The Sharing window will let you enter an email address or group name to share a file with, set if it's view only or edit, add a message. But the significant change is the scope of the sharing has shifted to the bottom of the window and if you want to change it, it is via the Settings cog. Is this simplified or is it minimising important information and choices? 
Viva Connections on mobile will start notifying you when news is published to your followed and frequent sites. .  

Microsoft Teams will work with the new Outlook "Work hours and location" setting and allow you to change it from your online status settings.

Configure multiple home sites to serve up a different home page and Viva Connections dashboard for different audiences. It has been a while coming. We first talked about it in episode 242. Daniel Glenn and Darrell Webster tell us more about it and its limitations.

Let your team members know when you intend to work remotely or in the office. Outlook's new Work Hours and Location feature uses your Outlook work hours settings and your calendar. Set the days and hours you work, and whether you will work remotely or from home. If you need to change it during the week, adjust it in your calendar at the top of a day where All Day events are displayed. Copilot's Semantic Index was announced as the mapping technology powering Copilot's relevant and actionable responses. But it will also enhance enterprise search results for E3 and E5 customers. OneDrive sharing links become easier to manage with a new user interface that filters based on people, groups and what they can access. You can simply search for a person, see how they can access the file, and adjust the links as required.
