Join Greg James, sports presenter Betty Glover, F1 broadcaster – and lifelong fanatic – Christian Hewgill and a rolling cast of drivers and characters from across the grid to take you inside the fascinating world of Formula 1.
The podcast The Fast and the Curious is created by Folding Pocket. The podcast and the artwork on this page are embedded on this page using the public podcast feed (RSS).
Christian checks in with Betty from the Las Vegas strip to look ahead to this weekend’s potentially title-deciding Grand Prix.
They answer all your questions about the race, the spectacle of Vegas and how much manhole covers will play a part this year.
We also chat to McLaren’s 2025 F1 Academy driver Ella Lloyd about her career so far and how she chose driving over potential careers in skiing and showjumping.

Betty and Christian go through the big talking points from a chaotic Brazilian Grand Prix.
From wild track conditions to a disqualification and Max's "best race yet" (and Lance Stroll's formation lap antics) it all made for a pretty memorable race, which looks to put the drivers' title battle to bed.
But with three races to go, where could the constructors title end up and how much of a boost has that double podium given Alpine as we head towards to season finale?

This week the team (minus Betty who is on other sporting duties) head to an industrial estate in east London for a day of karting. However, a lot of the other teams have taken the event far too seriously and are wearing their own kit and have enrolled professional drivers. With Team Principal Greg also out of action after putting his back out, it's a big day for Christian to prove himself on the track.
They're joined by a reserve driver who also loves talking about cars for a living on what he calls “the broadest church of automotive appreciation”, from finding classic cars in barns to the future of motoring; Jonny Smith from The Late Brake Show (aka The Car Pervert).
With an actual F1 race this weekend there's also time to preview the Qatar Grand Prix, discuss the probability of a new team joining the grid and answer listener questions about the origins of Formula One and Red Bull's human barriers.

Betty and Christian are off to McLaren HQ for a chat with CEO Zak Brown. With so many listeners getting in touch with questions about how F1 could be more environmentally friendly and McLaren launching a sustainability report, it felt as good a time as any to find out if the sport can really go green.
Of course there's also room for a tour of the McLaren site (including a look at one at where they actually build F1 cars) and the team finding out if Lando Norris has to let the boss win when they play golf.
And to top off the episode, Greg joins Betty and Christian for a debrief as well as a look ahead to Monaco a a HUGE co-host announcement.

Christian is in America ahead of the 2023 Miami Grand Prix and has secured a trio of Fast and Curious regulars!
He catches up with Greg and Betty for a whistle-stop tour as F1 circus as it descends on Florida featuring the state's very own Logan Sargeant, Lando Norris (who has just bumped into Vin Diesel, obviously) and some incredible pet updates from Alex Albon.
If that wasn't enough for our favourite professional F1 enthusiast, there's also a huge treat waiting on the track for Christian at the end of the episode.

The team look back(u) on a fairly tame race in Azerbaijan with some of the slightly more interesting points from across the weekend including street race tourism, how the new sprint race format went down and what the results mean for the championship.
Christian, Betty and Greg also look at how the race went for the Fast and Curious regulars and review the action of the first weekend of the F1 Academy featuring the latest co-host Chloe Grant.
And in breaking news Christian is off to Miami for the next race of the season, but who is he checking in with and will he bump into Mr Worldwide (aka Pitbull)?

George Russell (aka Curious George as he like to call himself on the podcast) is back for a catch-up with Betty and Christian during the early break in the season.
He fills us in on everything he's been up to during his down time including meeting Novak Djokovic and checking in with the rest of the Mercedes team to plot out their return to racing in Baku.
There's also some listener questions that give us an insight into George's singing ability and having meals cooked by Alex Albon's mum. Plus, anyone who listened to our recent episode with Oscar Piastri will know the Australian rookie had tee'd up a pretty good story about how Oscar and George first met. We can promise you it doesn't disappoint.

Oscar Piastri returns on co-hosting duties to fill the team in on his debut home grand prix in Australia.
With the race taking place a stone's throw away from his parents' house, Oscar tells Betty, Christian and Greg about returning home as part of the Formula One circus. From his nan cooking for the whole McLaren team to meeting a grid kid called Oscar(?!) and what went down in the driver WhatsApp group after the chaos in Melbourne it's another busy catch up with the rookier driver.
Along the way Christian sings to an actual F1 driver, Oscar answers some of your questions and Greg adds Fernando Alonso to his questionable F1 impressions list.

This week Greg, Christian and Betty look ahead to the third race of the season in Australia with listener questions, some pretty bold predictions and Team Principle James keeps his drivers in check with an Australian geography lesson from new friends of the show F1,2,3,4.
Along the way Betty plots to get her F1 simulator revenge, Christian is beaten (!!) by some teen Formula One fans and there's serious office chair delivery drama, obviously.

Christian and Betty head to Williams HQ to spend the day with co-host Logan Sargeant.
As well as answering listener questions and reliving his first moments as an F1 driver, Logan sets up a Fast And The Curious challenge on the Williams sim to let Christian and Betty really get to know the Australian grand prix circuit before the third race of the season.
There's also a surprise lined up for Logan in the form of the UK's best burger chef following the frankly worrying amount of messages we had sent in after the American driver claimed to be struggling to find a decent burger in England on episode one of the podcast.

As we head into race week two we hear from Alex Albon about how the Williams camp can make the most us picking up a point in Bahrain. There's also of *course* time for Betty and Christian to discuss Alex having THIRTEEN cats, how his professional golf playing thinks he's "uncoachable" on the course and the potential for George Russell's topless picture franchise.
Team Principal Greg is back with a "game" (we use that term lightly) to test Christian's knowledge, we go through some listener questions and Betty makes some incredible admissions about her driving skills as the team look to set up a Fast and Curious team race.

A bumper crop for you this time around. After Team Principal Greg sets out the plans for the episode Betty and Christian get to work with a Bahrain debrief with Alpine's French driver Pierre Gasly. But of course it's not strictly F1 chat, from learning English slang terms to his bath routine they cover some serious ground.
Later in the show Christian heads to Mclaren's "space ship" headquarters for a check-in with Lando Norris... and to get more gossip about the F1 driver WhatsApp group.
We're also joined by listener Ellie to break down her first experience of watching a Formula One race and give her the chance to pick Christian's brains. And keep an ear out towards the end of the episode to find out if your question gets answered by the team.
