But for those of you who know here is a quick recap. Kawaki no longer has his karma seal. At least currently speaking. And that is because Isshiki Otsutsuki was forced to choose Jigen as his vessel. Didn't have much choice in the matter because he was forced to do so because of Amado's and Kashin Koji's plan. The arc after Wano? Who will be the next antagonist? Akainu or Black Beard?

It is said that One Piece is over 60% complete, the source was the official One Piece twitter page. Some may find this exciting, while others worry about what they would do next after the pinnacle of anime has fallen.

In any case, the series is currently at one of, if not the most significant arc thus far, Wano Kuni, which is said to have a war that will be greater than Marine ford arc. Well so far, that is shaping up to be true, cause now we have two yonkous as antagonists. we already know the destruction that one yonkou is capable of, but when 2 fight together, that spells "invincible" to many. But unfortunately for them, they're going up against Strawhat Luffy, whom they both defeated at least once in the series. Luffy is not that dumb to fight an opponent with the same tactic knowing that it didn't work the first time. So that's something to look out for!

But the big question is, after Wano, What comes next? Who comes next?

Well, it's a no brainer that many are saying its Akainu, while others are saying its Black beard. So with those differences in views, I'd like to take the opportunity to share my thoughts on who the next villain will be. Before we can arrive at a conclusion, we must first look at where the anime is currently at, and which of the antagonist have been getting more highlights and/or foreshadow.

Why is that important? Because One piece is such a vast anime and it has a lot going on in each arc, the writer tends to use the current arc to build the next arc. Could you imagine all the details pertaining to a specific arc all being pack within that arc itself? Of course, that would be bad writing, cause then it would seem as if the writer(s) is just making things up as he (they) goes along. That can be good in some ways, but mostly bad, cause then to the viewers, the anime would be just a 'boat with no sails, drifting anywhere the wind takes it with no predetermined destination', and then comes the ultimate downfall, viewers starting to lose interest.

when you think about it, starting from Punk Hazard arc, there we're two arcs mainly being foreshadowed (speaking of the main villain, country. etc), those were Doflamingo in Dressrosa and Kaido in Wano. We got a few details about Doflamingo (and Dressrosa) throughout the Punk hazard arc and a bit less of Kaido (Wano). But as time progresses and we are at Dressrosa, we got more about Kaido (& Wano) and an introduction to Zou, and so on.

Whole cake island was being introduced from Fish man Island so you get the point.

Following that trend, we're now at Wano Kuni, and we've seen both Blackbeard & Akainu (Marine ford) being foreshadowed in many ways. But the question is, who/what/where got the most highlights?
If you said Akainu, then you are right. Blackbeard only had 2 scenes after whole cake Island, while Akainu/Marine ford had plenty. Some of the most significant ones are, but not limited to:

• X-Drake being a marine spy
• Reverie meeting which calls for the abolition of the Shichibukai system
• Sengoku talking about Rocs pirates and hinting that an alliance between Kaido and Big mom could be the biggest danger in Marine ford history since the start of the pirate era (after Gol Roger's execution)
• Sengoku again, suggesting to Akainu that he should send marines to Wano.

One Piece: Will The Marines Be Heading to Wano to Fight in The Luffy vs Kaido War?

This is a question asked by many One Piece viewers, mostly from the manga reader isle. Since the animation for chapter 957 "Ultimate" has not been released as yet. As explained in [Who else is coming to wano], Akainu now does have a particular underlying reason to go to Wano.


There are a number of reasons, mostly theories as to why I do believe that the marines will be present either in the Wano arc, which I've listed below. If you (dis)agree to some or all the points listed below then please express your thoughts in the comment section below and don't forget to share this article with your fellow nakamas on various social media platforms.


Now that is said and done, let's get into it:

(1). The pirate-ninja-mink-samurai is still vastly outnumbered. NOT TAKING the Big Mom pirates into consideration, Kaido-Orochi alliance alone is 30,000 men strong, outweighing Luffy's alliance at least five times (5x). Currently, at the time of writing, Luffy's alliance stands at 5400 men, and if including Nekomamushi and the guardians, plus Kidd and his crew, that's roughly 6000 men, and that's only being generous, as I don't think the latter 2 mentioned has a total of 600 men. However, considering Jinbe and his crew could probably fill the gap, and again, that's only being generous because I don't think his crew has more than 100 men. But I'd like to leave room for the possibilities of me being wrong, and/or more men accompany Nekomamushi and/or Jinbe on the way to Wano.


So what does this mean to the Strawhats? Well, think of it this way: How many times has history repeated itself through Luffy as it regards to Roger? I'm sure you've lost count as well as I. I'm 100% positive that the marines find the Big mom-beast pirate alliance a much bigger threat to the world when compared to 3 small pirate groups (Heart, Strawhat, & Kidd). Sakazuki said that they don't have many resources to spare at first, but that doesn't mean he won't change his mind. So it's possible that he could send Fujitora to Wano since Luffy and Law are both there and he needs their heads. But since breaking up the emperor's alliance would take a higher priority, I honestly believe that he would choose to fight alongside with Luffy's company.

(2). This is also an extension to the point expressed above, Fujitora's possibilities of coming to Wano, along with Coby. Since Coby is part of the Marine secret force SWORD, and their captain, X-Drake is there as well, Coby (Garp) along with Luffy (Roger) fights the emperor's alliance (RocsPirate), one of the world's biggest threats. Remind you of anything? #GodValleyIncident


(3). Since there are two yonkous presents, there should at least be an admiral, or at least a character with comparable strength there to help level the playing field as I don't see how 3 small groups of young pirates are going to topple 2 elderly well experienced pirates from Roger and Whitebeard era.


(4). The next possibility of why the marines are going to or should be part of the war is because of the next arc, which I highly believe is going to be "New marine ford arc", a theory I explained with detailed reasons. Click here to read [NEXT ARC AFTER WANO].

Plot

 Subaru Natsuki is a hikikomori who does nothing but play games. One night, after visiting a convenience store, he is suddenly summoned to another world. With no sign of who summoned him, he soon befriends a silver-haired half-elf girl who introduces herself as Satella, and her companion Puck. Satella mentions that her insignia was stolen by a thief named Felt. When he and Satella are mysteriously killed, Subaru awakens and discover that he has acquired the ability "Return by Death", enabling him to reverse time by dying. He greets Satella again, only for her to be offended at being addressed by the name "Satella", which in fact refers to the "Jealous Witch", and is considered a taboo. With the help of Reinhard (a knight) in another timeline, Subaru saves "Satella's" life from the assassin Elsa; she reveals that her real name is Emilia, and as a token of gratitude, Felt returns the insignia to her. 

 While recovering at the margrave Roswaal's mansion, the mage Beatrice drains Subaru's mana. After waking up, he meets the twin maids Ram and Rem, as well as Roswaal, who hires him as a butler. Roswaal reveals that Emilia needed the insignia to qualify as a candidate in the upcoming royal election. After mysteriously dying again, Subaru decides to investigate the circumstances leading to his death, and tries to recreate these events. Following a series of traumatic deaths and revivals, he learns that a curse had been placed on him, then deduces it came from a village he had visited earlier, also resolving Rem's intense hatred for witches. Eventually, the village is threatened by creatures known as mabeasts, so Subaru, Rem and Ram have to rescue the villagers.

One Piece is not really know for character development but more for amazing world building, even so it does have some good character developments. The character with the best character development so far to me is Zoro.
