Martin takes us through more of his research into alignments of the megalithic structures in the UK, demonstrating that some of these monuments may be aligned with each other across vast distances, implying that there could have been an overall plan for all of them, rather than simple random placement.

We also look at some alignments of sites with the word "Devil" in the name, and how those may be correlated with churches named after St. Michael.

This week Drew takes us through the Arthur Conan Doyle saga with the fairies, and how he fell for hoaxed photographs....but we also read some of Doyle's writings on the subject of fae encounters, and they seem entirely rational.

We then spend some time reading and discussing the topic of Homo Floresiensis, also known as the "hobbits" of the island of Flores. There are tales of encounters with "little people" that persist on this island to this day, despite the fact that the fossil evidence of these "hobbit" people is at least 12,000 years old, and perhaps as old as 50,000 years.

We then move on to tales from Japan, with very similar themes, trickster beings that can be beneficial as long as the humans interacting with them abide by their word.

Ben from UnchartedX joins us to discuss the amazing high quality scan data of a pre-dynastic Egyptian stone vase. Ben has discussed this object, the data from the scan, and the implications of the staggering precision evident in the manufacturing process several times on his channel.

Since the STL file of the data has been made available for download on the UnchartedX website, many people from around the world have been performing their own analysis of the vase, and we discuss some of the results of that on this episode, as well as some interesting results that Kyle has discovered on his own in his attempt to better understand the initial analysis techniques used by professional metrologists Alex Dunn and Nick Sierra.

We continue exploring the fascinating information in Charles Hapgood's book, Path of the Pole, starting this week with a detailed look at pleistocene deposits in South America that contain enormous amounts of megafauna and, sometimes, human remains. George Howard joins us to discuss his knowledge of the Alaskan Pleistocene bonebeds we were reading about in Path of the Pole. George has a lot of interesting information about these deposits, including a Comet Research Group study on cosmic material recovered from sediments embedded in the bones themselves.

We also discuss a similar massive bonebed right here in Texas that George has known about for many years.  For various reasons, these bonebeds haven't really been properly studied, but maybe that will change in the near future...

Back to the book report! We had a great time in Egypt, and there are more Egypt episodes coming, but meanwhile we still have to complete Charles Hapgood's Path of the Pole.

This week we complete the section on mountain building, continental drift, and crustal composition, and move into chapter ten, which is about the extinction of the Pleistocene megafauna.

We are joined in studio by Laura for more discussion on the 2022 Egypt trip. We talk about what we learned, further observations we made, and plans for the future. Laura asks us about the goals we had for this trip and if we accomplished any of them...which we did....mostly.  Kyle talks about mapping the Serapeum and jumping in and out of the boxes, checking the interiors and using resonance to get rough measurements.  We also discuss the statues, the differences in skill and style you can see between them, and the possibility that the large object that was being cut out at the Aswan Quarry might have been a rough block for a standing statue.

We're getting back into the normal swing of things here at the SnakeBros Institiute, so we finish up with some Space Weather news and a few emails, and a 1Up box present for Laura.

In Part 7 of our deep dive into Charles Hapgood's The Path of the Pole, we continue the discussion of the mysteries of "orogenesis" or mountain building. What forces can cause the enormous uplifts of so much rock? What is the cause of the numerous "basalt plateaus", where enormous amounts of magma poured out from underground and covered hundreds of square miles in layers of basalt hundreds of feet thick?
These questions and more are described in detail by Hapgood, in this week's episode.

Continuing our deep dive into Charles Hapgood's The Path of the Pole, we discuss the evidence that advances and retreats of the massive Pleistocene ice sheets in North America and Europe were apparently in opposition, such that whenever there was an advance in Europe, for example, there was a retreat of ice in North America, and vice versa. Hapgood points to this as evidence that these advances and retreats were not caused by global cooling or warming, but perhaps they may have been caused by lithosphere displacement.
Near the end of the episode we start in on "orogenesis" or the process of mountain building, and the mysteries of how the world's enormous mountain chains came to be.
