This week: She Left Everything Behind for a Spiritual Awakening

Everyone has heard about the struggles associated with spiritual awakenings. Birth of any kind, be it physical or spiritual, are often messy and difficult. But sometimes, they are so profound that they make people question even their sanity. Lives are shaken, worlds are changed, sometimes in devastating ways. This is a story that starts similarly, but ultimately shows us what great gifts can open up when we trust the guidance of our souls.

Prior to embracing her role as a healer, Jennifer spent over 30 years enjoying life as a creative professional and volunteering for a variety of philanthropic endeavors. She owned her own production company and worked with some of the largest corporations in the world. In October of 2020, she abruptly set off an a yearlong adventure that her soul was calling her to. She had no idea why her Higher Self was so persistent that certain aspects of her life must change. She was being pointed towards Bali but had no idea why. She had never been there nor had much of an interest to; however, she was now being prompted to leave behind life as she knew it and travel across the world... during a pandemic!

While it didn't make any sense to her, or to most who knew her, she followed the calling nonetheless.

About Our Guest:
Jennifer Foster is a channel, a medium, and a healer who works with Spirit and energy to help others heal emotionally, energetically, physically, and spiritually. The path that led Jennifer to this work is one of divine guidance, a lifetime of challenges, and a lifelong journey back home to her soulful self. In order to open up these gifts, Jennifer was extracted from life as she knew it.

The greatest mystery! What happens when we die? M.K. McDaniel believes that she was shown exactly what happens, when she underwent an induced coma in order to battle an illness. Her journey followed her closely held Catholic beliefs, only to reveal a surprising truth behind what awaits us in the afterlife, that completely upended her views on religion and so much more.

About Our Guest:
M.K. McDaniel (known as Kathy to her friends) is the Author of MISFIT IN HELL TO HEAVEN EXPAT. Dying from lung failure in 1999, she was placed on a ventilator and into a drug-induced coma. A Disturbing Near-Death Experience occurred and, although mostly traumatic, the overwhelming bliss of Heaven shifted her religious beliefs to a deep spirituality. Kathy credits hearing the stories of IANDS members for her eventual integration of the Disturbing NDE, and the ability to accept the mission that caused her reluctant return to Earth.

In a past interview, I was introduced to the term ?shadow work?. Knowing me, I?m sure you know how intrigued I immediately was with what that could be and I learned that over the last year and a half?.shadow work is exactly what I?ve been doing?.without even realizing that?s what I was doing!

So what is it exactly? Demons. Shadows. Skeletons in the closet. We all have them. And you can?t just get rid of your shadow, no matter how far you run. Everyone carries a dark side, even if we don?t like to admit it.

The idea of the shadow self was first conceived by Carl Jung.In Jungian psychology, the word ?shadow? refers to hidden parts of our being. Carl Jung believed in the integration of the shadow side so that our full self is acknowledged, and we can live in a balanced way.Today?s guest is no stranger to shadow work, and in fact, its because of her work in that area that I reached out to her to come on the show.
