SRI GAURA PURNIMA: Celebrating the Embodiment of Expansive Love - March 24th, 2024

Of all the infinite and unlimited forms of God, which are each unlimited in themselves, the fullest face of the Absolute is Sri Krishna in the forests of Vraja. It is there that everything is in place for him to relish the full moon of rasa in the fullness of his divinely human form. And yet, it is in the densest moments of the churned hearts of Vraja-lila where he finds himself bereft of yet a fuller love, one he himself has not yet tasted. The necessity of love to be ever fuller called forth Gaurahari in response. The celebration of Sri Gaura Purnima is the celebration of the unlimited reach of love in the unlimited life of God.
