Podcast 263 - How Can I Love....Myself?

This is an exploration into self-love. It is an exploration into our very purpose. Our reason for being here.

If this is something you have struggled with, there is a must-listen-to audiobook I'm going to suggest:

"Lives of the Soul" by Fred Dodson

https://adbl.co/3l7Cx0O

It will really help you reframe how all of this was part of our soul's plan for us to grow to higher ground.

Remember, we are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. (Pierre Tielhard de Chardin)

Podcast 262 - The FLOW State Audiobook - Interview with Fred Dodson

Fred Dodson has a new book out - "The FLOW State" - and now the audiobook is also available on Audible and iTunes.

https://adbl.co/3i43qk1

In contrast to Manifesting, the "Flow State" is when you are "in the Zone" all the time. Athletes study and obtain this state when they are in peak performance. But it's not just sports where we can achieve this optimum-performance state. We can live in this zone more often than we realize! This book not only examines many aspects of the Flow State, but is chock -full of exercises to help you identify it, achieve it, and remain in it.

Fred joins us to talk about this Flow State both in sports (he plays tennis 3 times per week) and in life.

Enjoy the Journey!

Podcast 259 - The Identity of the "Guru," Teacher & Self

Universe dropped this in front of me this week. Look up the audio program on Pandora, Spotify or YouTube from artist Krishna Das (Jeffrey Kagel) called "Pilgrim of the Heart." This is his story of leaving the band he was a co-founder of, "Blue Oyster Cult," for a life of chanting and studying the Higher Path in India in the early 1970s.

In this program, he defines what this Journey is really all about. Want to know your "Life Purpose?" Listen to this episode. The Path is the Purpose!

Podcast 254 - Healing Childhood Wounds - Rallying our Conscious and Subconscious "Team"

This episode continues the exploration we began in the last episode about healing childhood wounds. The transcript of the episode is provided below.

Enjoy the Journey!

Thomas

And welcome in to the subconscious mind mastery podcast. Thomas Miller, back with us kind of a sequel. We're going to pick up on what we were talking about in the last podcast about healing, our inner wounds. So this has come from some of the Facebook responses of why people want to join something called the subconscious mind mastery podcast listeners on Facebook.

And with those questions that are there at the top, why would somebody want to be a part of such a group? This is, was the runaway number one reason was to heal childhood wounds. I'll tell you this is opening up kind of a Pandora's box if you will, of stuff for me, because that conversation that I told you about in the last podcast with a friend and, uh, also a podcast list.

As unleashed a few other things, because he shared something with me that has been meaningful to him and his recent past. And I was listening to this concept and I thought, Ooh, this is really interesting. So I started playing with it. And what it is is instead of just kind of thinking like our inner composition.

Of being just our, let's say our ego self, our monkey mind, our conscious mind, whatever we want to call it. And not in a negative sense. I keep saying that as it's not in a negative sense that monkey mind is what makes us us, it's what gives us direction. It's what's helps us figure out the instructions, reading them.

I mean, it's all right. So we have to have our conscious mind. I mean, that's who we are and then we have our subconscious. And of course, that's the part of us that we're really familiar with from listening to this podcast, but let's slice and dice that a little more because what I've come up with on this is there are pockets of us that resist some of the healing that we're trying to do out of skepticism.

So let's break this down even more and I'll tell you the story that kind of started all of it. Is for a while. I had this feeling, this sinking feeling around my future security, finances, health, I don't know, just something about, and maybe it's a concern that all of us feel when we hit this phase in our lives of knowing that we have fewer work years ahead of us and what that looks like on the other side.

So I was having this anxiety around this. So I used this concept and discovered some really incredible stuff. So here are the parts of us. I'm going to say six, and this is in the concept of our team. This is our team that whenever we try to do something, Whenever we try to shift to belief and behavior.

Whenever we try to bring something in, whenever we want to create a job, whenever we want to change a circumstance, et cetera, heal and heal a disease, whatever it is as this is the team that is either working with us for us or against us. So let's consider these as individual parts. We'll break them down and then we'll continue the story and see how this unfolds.

So first is the inner child, then our emotional body, our physical body past events stored inside our conscious mind and our subconscious mind. Okay. So let's break these down. First of all, the inner child, obviously we kind of know what that is, but let's just think about this. It's our hopes and dreams.

It's that part of us that has always just wanted to play the factor of innocence, of hope, of a bright desire for the future, for the simplicity of life, for the desire to live for the desire to grow up healthy and free, to go run and play and just be a kid. And of course that inner child gets wound. The second part is let's consider our emotional body in astrology.

This would be called our water, right? It's our emotions. It's the feeling part of us. It's that part of us that gets hurt. It's that part that we feel when we have an emotion, like fear or anger or greed or whatever it is. It's that emotional part that is starved for attention. Like we were talking about last time, that part that needs and wants recognition, but often doesn't get it.

It is our feeling self. And then the third is past events. Now this would be certainly part of, or a team member that our subconscious works with. Very close. This is the part of us that retains the memories from the past. It is like a storage vault things go in. They never come out. It is that part of us that our conscious mind or our monkey mind self accesses when it needs to prove a point that it needs to pull something out from the past.

And it needs to remind us of our failures and the unlikelihood of our success in the future. See, this is the struggle. This is why this goes way back to even the bridge keeper conversations in some of the very early podcasts. This is part of that vault that the bridge keeper draws from. And it is very significant because it cannot see around any corners.

It has a fixed position on only what has happened in the past. So obviously as the Hertz accumulate, those are stored. And for a lot of us, we have more hurt deposits in our vault than we do happy memories in our vault. And that's a sad condition, but a very real one. And often one that keeps us from moving forward.

Now we've just talked about the three, the inner child, the emotional body and the past events. Those are stored in our consciousness. Now let's talk about actual components of our composition. So the first is our physical body. Now, if you don't think that we don't have storage of pain in our body, in our physical body, our flesh and bones and muscle mass and cellular material.

Think again. Everything is energy. And those cells respond to that negative energy. Exactly. Like they would. Anything else. So pleasure and pain, both affect our physical body. I do think that it is stronger with the negative emotions and it is why things like stress and difficulty and challenge. Cause things like heart disease and cancer.

So when we're talking about this team that we have to pull together in order to effect change, we definitely, absolutely. Our physical body has a seat at this table. Now another is our conscious mind. Okay. That's the monkey mind, the ego self. And again, like we said, not in a bad way, but this conscious mind is the alpha dog of the six.

It wants to run the show. It wants to be the chatterbox. It wants to dominate the conversations. I've used this a lot where you think about the conscious mind and the subconscious mind that we're going to talk about next that when the subconscious mind, that little still small voice of intuition comes around.

That the conscious mind literally wants to snuff it out. Think of the whack-a-mole you know, the whack-a-mole game. I mean, the conscious mind is standing over that poor little thing that wants to pop out. Just hammering it with a hammer going shut up. I've got this. I'm in control here. You just go back in your box because it wants to run and dominate the show.

So when something comes up from the quiet little self inside, The conscious mind drawing from that volt of past memory often snuffs it right on out. We don't even know it. Then the last of these bodies is obviously the subconscious mind or our connection with our higher self. We're kind of wrapping all this up into one, but this is the part of us that can see around the corner.

And they've already measured. And the numbers that I see on this are different, but it's like a fraction of a second that the unconscious part of us can respond to incoming stimuli that the conscious is not yet aware of up to almost a second in advance. I've seen different numbers. Some might even argue longer, but let's just say it is.

Uh, head of our physical response, it's sees around the corner. So when I feel an analyst around potential threat of future developments, this is the part that is saying warning danger ahead. And this is that part of our team. That part of us that is that still small, quiet voice. This is that part that I worked so hard in Aspen and the hiking trails to get it to be the primary, louder voice of the two.

I actually asked my conscious mind if it would be willing to become subservient to the subconscious mind on an ongoing basis so that the subconscious mind had the bigger voice in the moment. And then the agreement with the conscious mind was that once the subconscious showed the direction or gave the prompt, then conscious mind now will get engaged on getting moving in that direction.

But we're going to follow the directions of the subconscious and tune into it all the time. And that was a big shift. And that was the shift that took almost a year and a half to really effectively work out. Now let's bring it forward. And there is also one other ingredient that we're going to slip in here too.

So don't go away. There's one other piece to this, but here's what we're going to do is slip back to the story of the consternation around the future. I have a deck of cards that I've been using for a while. It's called the Lenormand deck. And I got it out. In fact, it called to me and that's usually when I get it out, I usually don't go to it until it says, ah, there's a message for you.

It's kind of like the old AOL you have mail from the universe. So I did the deck and usually kind of, my pattern is three cards is usually enough. And I just go until again, the feeling says that's all there is for you for this message. And the very first card was the snake. And the snake indicates problems, troubles deceptions difficulties.

But in the interpretation book that I use of it, it said that the snake can easily be lifted up and out of the path. I was like, oh yes. Okay, good. And the other two cards were favorable cards. So it was like, there's this snake in the path that needs to be lifted up and out of the way. And that is exactly what the team.

My whole construct of inner child, emotional body, physical body, past events, conscious mind. And subcut well not conscious mind. We'll leave that one aside subcon conscious mind was locking onto it. Oh, it was locking onto it. So if I hadn't recognized the feeling and even then recognized the snake, then I wouldn't be in the position to move the snake out of the way.

This is one of the key tenants that I've learned from Fred Dodson is when you have something like that, that comes across your way to not get upset and worked up about it, acknowledge it, let it be in the space because when you allow that difficulty. So now just going back to the team and saying, ah, I recognize that you were looking around the corner.

You saw something you didn't like, and we need to collectively work together to address it. That's all that's going on here. I guarantee you, there was a time that I would have seen that snake card and literally just freaked out what has sent me over the top. So now it's just a matter of being present to it to say, ah, okay, well, we're going to neutralize this.

We are going to move the snake out of the way and not being worked up that it's even there. And, you know, when you can look back on your past and know how you would have responded to something in the past and know now that you don't respond that way, give yourself a massive celebration, because that is huge progress.

You are doing the work and it's sticking in your life. It's a beautiful breakthrough. Definitely one that should be celebrated. So what I did next is I sat down my little quiet. And I started to have a conversation with my team and I asked, I, I, I basically asked the question like, okay. So let's think about the future.

Let's think about the years when income generation may not be possible for various reasons, due to health, due to economic circumstances, whatever whatever's out there, whatever's around the corner, whatever the snake is. Let's just consider that. And I mean, there was turmoil and an angst inside of Moi. I could feel it.

I could feel the tension between the creating side and the sides that we're looking around here and seeing something they didn't like. So I rallied the team and I called them together. I said, okay, look, we've all got to get on the same page. And I went through each one. Inner child, tell me what's going on.

And it traced things back to fear from the, from the childhood emotional body. What are you feeling past failures, physical body. What are you feeling? Tension where heart retro past events. Well, it's kind of back to the bridge keeper conversation stacking up the failure. Conscious mind. Ah, now see, this is where it got different.

We can work around this, we can move the snake. We can use all of the stuff you've learned. We can do the new work and create something different and subconscious mind just waiting for instructions, just waiting for instructor. So what I did then was to create something different as a possibility. I got this from that secret science of getting rich audio program.

Michael Beckwith told a story about when they were trying to get his church building built. They were up against the gun. The construction team needed more money. The church didn't have more money. The bank had the loan, but they hadn't processed it yet. And he called his board together and he just said, I don't want any.

He actually said he propped a chair up against the D the knob of the door of the conference room, where they were meeting. And he said, I don't want anybody to leave this room until we can all agree that getting this money is possible. He said, I don't know how we're going to get it. We're up against delays.

The construction project is in jeopardy. It's not looking good, but I want everybody to agree that it is possible and they all eventually did. And basically what happened is within 48 hours, they had the money, the man who ran the bank, or the manager of the bank who was processing their application, saw what was in the queue.

And he asked the loan processor, he said, is that Beckwith's organization? The guy said, yes. He said, give him money. And the guy said, but I haven't done a bit of work on it. Give them the money. In fact, give it to them today, give them an open credit as much as they need. And that sent chills down your spine.

Or if you're a water sign like me, a little tear in your eye touches you emotionally, is it possible? So that's what I presented to the team. And I got everybody on board agreeing that it was possible. To move the snake. So we did two things there. Number one, we, uh, I agreed consciously with the team and I thanked them thanking them for pointing out that there was a hazard ahead that I was not consciously aware of second allowed each of them to express their viewpoints.

And third rallied everybody that it was possible. Well, I left that session. Feeling so much better. I was calm. I was not certain because there's work to be done, but I was hopeful and I was at peace inside because we were all in agreement. Now, as this plan starts to unfold and execute, certainly one of the team members might go back to their original position and kind of be in the resistant, freak out concern, frightened mode, whatever you want to call.

But we can have a meeting bring every back into a light, bring everybody back into alignment because that's the key here is when you have everybody aligned, then that is full on all cylinders, firing subconscious programming, turning into manifestation. That is when your whole being inner and outer will find the way.

Now there was one other piece. Remember I mentioned about 10 minutes ago, there was one other piece that we were going to add to the equation, and that is the divine source, the universe. However you want to label it, let's call it God. And even in that, even saying that if God evokes some kind of reaction, try to neutralize that because the real key to this.

Is that we put this at the feet of the divine and I'm saying, father, mother, God too, by the way, uh, how did God ever get a monopoly on the, the male gender? I don't understand that. In fact, if you'd a Madonna had told me this, if you, uh, dyslexic kids that see into that realm better than we do always will say, father, mother, God, at least somehow acknowledge the.

You know, Fred Dodson's work has turned in this direction over the last couple of years, I've noticed a distinct, more amplified tone to bringing the divine into all things before he would mention and acknowledge it. But now it's really part of the fabric of his work. In fact, I saw a video just the other day, where he was answering some questions.

And somebody said, what is the fastest technique for manifestation? He's like, I get that one all the time. And basically the answer he said was that you take your desires and you lay them at the feet of the divine. You let God work it out. So that's the seventh, seventh component. And isn't it interesting that that one is number seven.

If you know the numerology around that, you know, that seven is quite significant. In the divine realm, but I do think that it's important that we put emphasis on that. In fact, significant emphasis and that as we take all of this, then collectively our other six team members of we, as we've constructed this then petition the divine together as one.

So we are creating together. We are putting this into the universe together. If we were Wallace, Wattles in the secret science of getting rich, we would say the formless substance, it's all the same thing, guys. It's just a different label. And here we are saying that we present it to God, that infinite source that does as Wallace Wattles said, fill and permeate and penetrate every space in the universe.

When I was in Christian junior high school, we learned the attributes of God. And one of them was, God is omnipresent. Well, think of that as a Wallace, Wattles said it permeating every space, filling every nook and corner and cranny in the whole universe, connecting it all. That is what we are connecting with.

What is especially powerful about this technique? Is, it brings our whole inner being into one. And so we are coming United instead of divided. Yeah. We might have one of the one or two or three or five of the six team members might come dragging, kicking and screaming. But if we can get to that point of possibility, then we can absolutely come as well.

Now to help you try this, I'm going to create next a meditation that we can use to connect to each of these bodies, and then to bring them together. Just like I talked about, the whole process will be packaged in a meditation, and that will be the next podcast. So hope this helps. This is very powerful stuff to heal.

These old wounds. I'll see you on the next episode with a meditation so that we can roll right in I'm Thomas Miller. Thanks for listening. Enjoy the journey.

Podcast 253 - Healing Childhood Wounds

This Subconscious Mind Mastery episode comes from a few recent conversations and observations I had where a common theme came up: Wounds from our childhood.

It hurts growing up. And, in a sad way, we often very unintentionally hurt our kids as well.

This subconscious cycle can be broken - that's the good news! But, because we're dealing with others (and their often unhealed wounds), the process can sometimes be arduous.

Let's talk about it!

Thomas

Welcome to the subconscious mind mastery podcast. Thomas Miller. Thanks for joining us. Glad you're here. We got an interesting topic today that really I think has come from you and I'll tell you why. Because as you know, we have a Facebook page, subconscious mind mastery podcast listeners on Facebook.

And if you ask to join the group, it's a private group. There are four questions that are right there at the beginning. And a lot of people don't, they don't answer the questions. Well, one of the reasons the questions are there is because I like to see why you want to be in our group. I've been noting, making a list of all of the answers of those over a period of time.

And it's very clear that the number one issue is healing. Childhood wounds. Which really shouldn't be any surprise because that's how this whole podcast got started in the beginning over eight years ago, from my own journey of exploring how to heal my childhood wounds. So why would it not be the number one issue?

And I mean, let's be Frank about it for many of us growing up hurt. And then in the cruel irony of earth, when we set out to be parents. The last thing we wanted to do was hurt our kids. And what do we do? We hurt our kids and we carry that guilt. So I've seen three reminders of this, this week. And they were conversations basically where I observed one way or another childhood wounds.

And in each case, the people weren't even aware of it. And that's the big deal. So we, we know that we have these childhood wounds, right. We know that our upbringing left us scarred in some way or another, and we've done the best to either mask it, deal with it. We've carried it X far, but life is peeling an onion.

So we're here with it until we exit. I mean, I, I would imagine you could make great strides. And I would imagine that it also is something that the onion would never stop peeling. Maybe if you hit enlightenment under a boat eye tree, you might get, if you do, my email [email protected]

Right? Email me I'd love to know. So here was one example where this showed up was having a conversation with a friend and. I was thinking about this before the window opened up to say this, but it just was so perfect. So the universe opened up the space and as it worked out, it was just the perfect timing.

So I wasn't going to say anything about it. And then it was like, oh, it just opened up. And it was in the context of the conversation. So I mentioned that this friend in our phone conversations would often interrupt me. Like I wouldn't even get the sentence finish. He was on his way to the, to the next thing, just cut, you know, cut off.

And I, you know, I'm real, I realized that this is typical and common today. Fred pointed this out to me about me several years ago and same thing cutting off, jumping on, stepping on no dead air. I mean, look, I was a disc jockey my sophomore year in college, right? I mean, no dead air is the radio monitor. I mean, if you put silence into spoken word,

now that it was only five seconds, but how many of you started thumping on your phones? There's something wrong. We can't stand it. So in our conversations, we just jump on the other person, which to me is a, a form of disrespect. And I get that now I've really, introspected this of allowing somebody else, just the space to complete, and then even give a pause.

Even if they had an afterthought, this is so hard to do. I'm telling you, I have a hard time with this. Of course I do wait until they finished talking, give them some space and see if they don't come up with that afterthought. So what you have to do is, as they come up with the afterthought is just about the same timing that you would start talking.

So now you're both talking on top of each other. Again, I'm telling you, I'm telling you I've been playing with it. So the point is to just breathe and relax. And when I interviewed Fred, I edit those interviews, but what you don't hear are the seconds. I mean, long seconds of pauses. So what's happening in those pauses.

Listening gathering the next thought from inside instead of from the head calming the monkey mind and just allowing space space. It's a good thing. What my friend and I talked about was that, uh, exactly what his issue was, was needing to hear. From intuition from inside. So I asked about his practice of when he connected with intuition and it was at a specific, like a designated thing.

Okay. I'm going to call my mind now. It was an activity, right? It was something you do with the intention of getting in touch with intuition. And I think for most of us, that's how it's done. Right. We do a yoga practice and that's our switch. Like, boom. It just goes on me, hit the hiking trail. Some of you love to journal and in your writing, like free writing and it just spills out.

And you know that you can pick up that pen and put it on the paper and it's going to be there for you. Well, my point to him was rather than making it an activity, make it an always on part of your life. Oh, now we're talking about something. So rather than listening for the intuition during your cup of coffee in the morning, what I'm talking about is being in a state of presence where that is always available to you, and it's available to you in the moment that you need it, because remember intuition often presents itself in a spark or a flash or a moment.

And then if you don't act on it, that window is gone. I mean, why doesn't the universe map out our agenda on a monthly basis for us, you know, send us a memo. It's that we learn to live an inhale, exhale, breathe in. And the way that the intuition speaks to us is in the silence. It's in the quiet it's when we're not talking.

And it's even when our monkey mind is not monkey minding, it's not chattering. And that's, what's hard to do because what's happening in the phone conversation is your hearing and already formulating the thought, the mental process of the next question. And once you get the thought, boom, you cut the person off because you've got your thoughts.

And whatever they have to say, oh, you know what they're going to say. It's the last seven words of the sentence that don't matter anymore because you already know what they are. Your mind has engaged now, your mouth is engaged and the other person has kind of left there sometimes, probably a little bit taken back.

Um, you're listening to somebody who is really good at this. Okay. So just know I'm working through this. My radio show in Dallas has really helped me with this because it's a talk show. So we let each other finish on purpose. And in the exercise of doing that, I've learned that little bit of pause because I've been editing it on a timeline.

So I, myself, if you've been in conversation with me, I, and if I have cut off, know that I am deliberately working on that. And if for those of you who know and engage in conversation with me that if I do that, while we're on the phone, I not only invite you, I implore you to please point it out in the moment.

It might be a good thing for a lot of you to do with close friends. Just say, Hey, you know what? I'm working on something. And if I happen to speak before you're finished, would you just let me know now here's the deal that's working on the performance. That's working on the, what we do, it's working on the verb.

But what we need to do is get under the skin of that and work on the noun. We need to work on being present. See, this is where you put being before doing. If we just focus on not cutting people off on the phone, then our mind is engaged in thinking about not cutting people off on the phone. Wrong focus.

What we need to do is practice the skill of being present. Cause when we're present, there really is no end to that sentence. Right? It's a flow. And the conversation becomes a dance. So you let them stop talking and you pause. And if they are a conscious co conversationalist, they will pause. So you don't have to worry about getting your words snipped off and you just finish your thought and you ponder and you think, and you reflect and you listen.

Is there something from inside? That might come up right here. That's actually what I did in this conversation. And I felt the window open to bring it up. And as I brought it up, he was extremely receptive. Very grateful started doing that. I mean, this is somebody that's been working on. Actually, he was one of the earliest listeners of this podcast.

And he started doing the work because he knows how to do it. He's been on this ride for eight years and instantly changed and turned things around. And let me know, by the end of that day, what he had done that day, he took action that day to sit down and tune in. And, but again, it's not just a one-time thing now it's about doing it all the time.

It will be as, as ridiculous as saying, okay, at four o'clock this afternoon, I am going to go breathe and I'm going to get all of my afternoon air that I need for the rest of the day. And at night, while I'm asleep, I'm going to breathe for 20 minutes at four o'clock this afternoon. If you did that by five o'clock, you would be a, a former listener, right?

It's like, uh, none of us would make it for more than a few minutes. Well, it's the same. If we apply that same analogy, like how could I even live live without being tuned in all through the day? This is why the yoga people mentioned the breath as part of our flow, that it just becomes this daily connection.

This always present connection to something beyond our monkey mind. Does this make sense? Is this resonating? I hope that this point is connecting, not in any kind of critical way, but in a way of let's explore all of this together. So that for anybody who's listened to this podcast, if we have a conversation with each other, that there are a lot of gaps of just dead air.

Wouldn't that be awesome. And I think our conversations today don't invite that because everybody's so fast. Bubba, Bubba, Bubba, Bubba. And we just need to slow down because nobody's tuned in to that conversation. And I brought a lot of them in the, and get it done as fast as you can and get off rather than letting it breathe.

Because if you could, if my friend could come on here and tell you what he heard, when he got quiet, it blow you away. I mean, it, it radically changed the difference of several key areas of his life instantly. That's how powerful this is. Now, couple of other observations, and these were just observations during interactions where I heard childhood wounds come up and the common theme of each of these three really we've we put the phone call and these two other observations of recent conversation where I just saw a definite need either to be heard or to be recognized.

As significant. And then I got to thinking about this, you know what? These are all the same thing, because even the interrupting on the phone and having to jump on the sentence and, you know, change the conversation or take over the conversation is all about not being heard. It's about not being valued.

It's about not being significant. And what was the biggest line that I heard when in my child. Children are to be seen and not heard. No, I heard it a lot, especially when we went to my grandparents, apartment children are to be seen and not heard. Can you imagine telling a developing, growing soul to just be a shadow in the room?

Wow. Yeah, that puts an imprint on us. Doesn't it? How many of you were told that? I would be really curious how many of you were told in one, some way or another, that as a child, you were to shut up, get out of the way, not be heard, not interject, not be valued and certainly not be significant. You're a kid.

Well, we've had it done. And then we turn around and do it to others and to our own kids. And if you want to spot this in others, just watch for the reactions. So this either shows up as resistance or resistance to a conversation or a rebuttal, like having to be right. Correcting you. See if you're in flow.

If you're in the flow, if you're just, oh, Fred's doing a book on flow. I can't wait to share this with you. I need to get permission. And I'll send you an early chapter because this book is going to be so. Talking about being in a state of flow. When you're in the state of flow, somebody makes a misstatement of some sort in and bother you a bit.

You just roll with it. If it needs to be maybe pointed out in the context of the conversation. Okay, you do that, but it's not having to be right. Or another place that shows up or a little self-defeating comments. My mom would do this a lot. Where the person becomes a martyr of sorts. The common theme on that one is that an action taken.

In other words, putting something out into the space that is not received equals rejection. That's the big one. My mom did this all the time. I can spot this one a mile away. So if something is not received or if a gesture is not appreciated, or if conversation is not listened to then. The person takes it on themselves, that they are bad, wrong unworthy, et cetera.

In the drama triangle. It's the perfect being the victim. Oh, they're saying this to you. You didn't accept my ex therefore I'm bad. See, I'm the victim. I'm putting that in the perspective of the other person through the eyes and the ears and the mouth of the other. You didn't receive my gesture. Therefore I am bad and wrong and not worthy and no good.

When you develop eyes to watch for it. If you spotted a mile away, that's another one where the, again, this common theme is not being significant. That's all it is. If parents are gone, then it's pretty easily resolved. And I'm not saying this casually, but the risk, the resolution, because the parents aren't there to have a conversation with it's resolved through a choice.

You identify where it came from and you make a choice in the opposite direction of that point of origin. So wherever it showed up in your family, you find the opposite and you choose in that opposite direction. Now many of you still have family and parents around who create that situation whenever you get together.

And the dilemma with that is the unresected Vivity of said parents to any kind of discussion about it. This is where it's more difficult. If you are an adult and presumably out of the house, then boundaries are the study or the operative word here. A really good phrase that can come to your aid is well, that just doesn't work for me right now.

Hey, I remember I had a conflict with my mom one night. She wanted to press into a conversation that I did not want to have. I was there feeding my dad who had Parkinson's and couldn't he had gotten to the point where he basically couldn't feed himself in any kind of expedient time. And my mom wanted to press this conversation and I was feeding dad and, uh, she pressed on and crossed the boundary and actually threw a dish rag and hit me in the back of the head.

And I just said, dad, I'm so sorry, but I very difficult period. I had to set the fork down and leave with my mom, chasing me out the door. But I just was not willing to let that boundary be violated. And that was years before I had the tools that I have now. I probably would've done something to sequester mom and, or try to, but, you know, look, she reacted with flashy, anger, and usually in that moment, there was no resolution to.

So I get it. And that brings each of us to our own way of having to deal with it. By that time I had had 48, almost 50 years of dealing with it. And I just wasn't up for, uh, in that setting, continuing to face the abuse, if you will. I had no other tools. She had no other tools. So partying. Sometimes you have to do that so that you're, it's known that you're serious and then you can come back and retest it.

Like then you've leased, you've got the ammunition to say, you know, that I will leave now. I'd rather stay here and feed dad. But if you don't table, this, I will do exactly. As I did before problem is don't threaten it. If you don't carry it out, that goes with disciplining children. Uh, I need to do a podcast on that sometime.

I've got a great way of it works so well of working with kids, but the greatest weapon, I just tell you what it is is for a child who knows your word is your word than it is 100% predictable. Then that is golden as far as discipline, that works that often. And I know it's not in every case, but just often works really well the first time.

So let's summarize. Number one, pause to listen through the day, make that a way of being rather than a verb at a certain time on the clock. Second, go back and reflect on unhealed wounds, and then just watch and observe your own behavior. For times that you might click into some kind of victim mode. Just use that as your marker at any point in any kind of way.

Do I make myself appear as a victim? I can think of a couple right now, actually, since I've started talking this through, I've got a couple of things that I'm going to pay more attention to. Number three, when possible, simply heal with a choice. So find the opposite and commit to that path, do it with repetition, intentional repetition until the process changes until you get the shift.

And then if the source of the conflict is still there. Then set intentions, look for those conversation points where it can be discussed, not in the conflict of the moment. And I'm going to say this very, self-serving only tell the other person about this podcast because seriously, the more people we can get living consciously, the more we can get past this stuff.

Tell them we're all on a journey and we've got a great community. Invite them to the Facebook page, subconscious mind mastery podcast listeners, and we'll all carry on on this journey together. Try and one day at a time, one step at a time to make it better. Thanks so much for listening through on this. I hope some of it has helped and until we talk next time, enjoy the journey.

These are some observations, musings, and thoughts we might consider about our relationships in light of this major energetic shift that began in January, 2020 under the Saturn/Pluto conjunction. I'm not right here...these are just some thoughts and observations from my own experience, from readings and hearing from some of you and some of my friends.

Podcast 251 - What is Your Subconscious Programming When Challenges Appear?

This is a "Journal Page" episode, exploring and pondering how do we handle challenges when they appear? This is a process I go through now, pretty much automatically, when anything comes up that I want to work on uncovering Subconscious patterns and paradigms.

In the episode, I talk about the following website, which is the work of Lynn Schaeffer, which I highly recommend if you are looking for ways to further explore into and unlock things in your subconscious mind. It worked powerfully for me, as mentioned.

Podcast 247 - A Life-Changing Exchange of Alcohol for Consciousness - Himat Singh Dayvault

My Aspen ski buddy & friend, Himat Singh Dayvault re-joins us to tell his story & reasons why he stopped drinking alcohol over 3 decades ago. Was the "exchange" worth it? Well, it must be since he has stayed with it without regret all these years. We are shifting into an era of new and higher consciousness. Old structures are being torn down. This episode isn't for everyone. But if you are exploring how you can participate fully in this new energy...this new paradigm that is emerging, Himat's story may very well resonate.

Podcast 243 - "Levels of Heaven & Hell" with Fred Dodson

The audiobook "Levels of Heaven and Hell" is now available on Audible.com and iTunes (Apple Music). If you have ever struggled under the fundamental belief systems that mandated you do something specific to their teaching in order to "go to Heaven," this episode is for you. Fred explores Heaven and Hell as both spiritual and physical places and from the context of Energy, which he laid out in his original book, "Levels of Energy."

Podcast 241 - How to Handle Angst & Uncertainty from the Science of Getting Rich

I have been reviewing Bob Proctor's Secret Science of Getting Rich audio program, the one I started my new spiritual journey with in 2008. It is always full of fresh, new insights, even though I have listened to it dozens of times. These are changing times, which I believe began with the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in January, 2020. Amidst this change has come angst for many of us. That is natural during such shifts. The question is...what are we focusing on with both our mind and emotions? That's the topic of this podcast, and a great reminder as there is some special energy right now to help support our soul-work.

Podcast 232 - And another twist and turn in the Journey...

When I started this podcast in 2013, "living out loud," if you will, I never expected several things that have unfolded. I never expected to meet Fred Dodson via audiobook narration. I never expected to spend almost 3 years tromping around the spectacular mountains of central Colorado. I never really expected to return to Dallas. But even that part of the Journey has now morphed into another story. Another chapter. And, another podcast.

Exactly like you, Majona and I have had a lot of changes in our lives these past few months since Covid-19 became part of our vocabulary. And as our Journey continues, we wanted to bring you up to speed on where we are, why, and what's ahead.

Podcast 231 - Back to Basics: Our Thoughts = Our Reality

Here's the video mentioned:

https://bit.ly/31JJJGC

Some posts in our Listeners Facebook Group (click here to join) have brought me back to thinking about the Fundamentals. The Basics. Especially now, which is collectively a very high-programming condition for many of us.

The most fundamental concept is simple: Our thoughts today = our reality tomorrow.

Let's unpack this.

Podcast 230 - When Karma Comes Calling! How Do We Respond? A Lesson in Authenticity From the Trenches

There's a news story in today's headlines that is relevant and worth unpacking under the energy of 2020. Collectively, and individually, we are all undergoing substantial change, upheaval, shifts, and new paths. Often, when old areas of inauthenticity are exposed, it's downright painful. Sometimes, like in our example here, it can be public. i.e - Busted!

How should we respond when we observe this happening to others? How should we respond when we are in the midst of it ourselves? How can we send the best energy to others when they are hurting?

Let's explore this very relevant topic during these challenging times.

Podcast 228 - Centering Ourselves For The Long Game 2020 & Beyond

A recent not-so-nice review on iTunes combined with some of my own mutterings, plus a listener question combined to produce some thoughts on how we can set our outlook for the long haul, as the Covid reality is extending beyond weeks and months. Here is the brief article I mentioned at the end:

Not everyone suffered during the Great Depression. More people became millionaires during this time than in any other time in American history. Opportunities, that were not present during the 1920s economic boom times, suddenly became available. An economic downturn is a good time to start a business. Start-up costs are much lower in a recession than in boom periods. Savvy entrepreneurs edged in and positioned themselves for when the economic climate improved. Many poorly run businesses closed during the Depression years and their equipment and assets could be bought at fireside sales for next to nothing. Commercial rents were cheap and wages were low. There was also time to get the business fundamentals right before increased orders made it too hectic for the entrepreneur to build and test his business model. It was these ?if you can dream it, you can do it? Great Depression entrepreneurs that made the best of the crisis to provide a service, or product, for new markets.

Who were some of these maverick entrepreneurs? Some very famous names made their money during the Depression era. In Kentucky, a grandfather, called Colonel Sanders, started serving fried chicken at his gas station. By 1937 he had expended to a 142 seat restaurant due to popular demand. Two young electrical engineering graduates stared a electrical machine business in a rented garage during the 1930s. Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard officially became business partners in 1939 with only $538 in investment money.

Many people with small amounts of liquid cash were able to buy bankrupt businesses at bargain prices. Towards the end of the 1930s some business people watched the upsurge in military spending by some countries. The world was preparing for war and those that invested in companies that made in-demand products for the government stood to make lots of money. Companies dealing with shipping, military vehicles, textiles (for uniforms, tents, etc.), metals (copper, steel, aluminum and iron), shipping and petroleum products made a fortune. Well known companies that were bought at this time were John Deere, Reynolds Metals and Douglas Aircraft.

Another huge opportunity was real estate. During the Depression years, demand was low and thus prices were low as well. Visionary business people knew that real estate values would go up in the future and when they did they used the equity to leverage their business growth and expansions. Those wise folk that were not caught up in the stock market frenzy in the 1920s, and saved their cash, were well positioned to snap up bargain businesses and became millionaires as a result.

Podcast 227 - Triggers Can Reveal Underlying Subconscious Mind Growth Opportunities!

No doubt about it....these are tough times for all of us. We are each dealing with this in our own unique ways, and without a doubt, our subconscious mind's paradigm governs our responses. The dance is dealing with our own triggers, external triggers, then re-shaping our own soul's growth as we do our spiritual work.

A listener question spawned this podcast as an answer to a great question that we set up in the podcast. Should we wear a mask, or not? And that opens up the question....what exactly does a mask represent?

Let's dive into the depths of our subconscious mind and do some deep soul work around triggers.

Enjoy the Journey!

Podcast 224 - Horse Therapy in the Texas Hill Country with Kelly Jones

I found the most amazing place in the Texas Hill country! My intention was to find a high-energy environment, and check out the design and build of a small cabin, I landed via the Universe and AirBnB at South Wind Equestrian & Retreat Center in Leader Texas and met its owner, Kelly Jones.

Her whole story of finding, buying and developing the property as a horse ranch is amazing in itself, but what she is doing now in the area of horse therapy is like nothing I have ever seen or heard before. It is truly amazing, and for a brief while I was able to experience it myself.

Podcast 223 - Reprogramming Our Subconscious Mind in "Challenging Times"

These certainly are ominous times, ones which planet Earth, in its eons of history, has never experienced quite like this. And yet, as we reflect on how each of us is handling the situation, we observe that this is how we program our subconscious minds - the very same methods are with us now that we would deploy if we wanted to change our money paradigm, or our bad luck in relationships.

Let's explore that in this episode. Here is the information I referenced in the early part of the podcast about the Saturn Period:

From an online Blog:

What is happening is that as this new Saturn-era which began in 2017 matures into the 2020s with the Sun's Grand Minimum that many people will face many events that they did not anticipate, and, as a result will suffer.

A key to astrological knowledge comes from the number 9 which holds the mystery of the magic square of 3 + 6 which is based on the solar number 36.

36 is one-tenth of the prophetic cycle of 360 days or years.

The seven days of the week are named after the Sun, Moon and planets.

Each celestial body holds sway as a planetary ruler of an era in succession throughout seven cycles of 36 years equaling 252 years, as 2+5+2= 9.

252 years is one-tenth of the prophetic period of 2,520 years.

In the course of a Jubilee period of 49 years, there are 42 working days and seven Sabbaths.

These 42 days are represented by the seven planets each ruling for a week of six days.

So every seventh day is a Sabbath. Every seventh year is a Sabbath Year.

And every seventh Week of years is a Sabbath of Sabbaths, or a Jubilee Year.

This interplay is an ancient astrological Hebrew method I learned as a boy studying Mundane Astrology.

These are solar periods that take place in each sign of the Zodiac with the five planets, the Sun and the Moon extend over a span of 3,024 years as the progressional change of signs extends 5,184 years.

One half of this period is 2,592 years, which is one-tenth of the Great Year of 25,924 years.

This astrological sexagenary system gives prominence to the values of the numbers 6, 36, 216 and 1,296 with the number 6 as the Creative Number.

The number 36 is the tenth of the Circle; as 216 the tenth of the equinoctial transit of each Zodiacal sign; and 1,296 is one-tenth of half the Great Year, being the precessional value for six Signs.

The 36-year era cycle is known the 'Solar Cycle of the Prophets' and the days that represent each planet which rules it is read in retrograde motion through the days of the week ruled by each planet, which serves as planetary ruler of each 'era,' for a span of 36 solar years.

Here I count from the year 1764 to the present time now.

1764 to 1800, Saturday, era of SATURN.

1800 to 1836, Friday, era of VENUS.

1836 to 1872, Thursday, era of JUPITER.

1872 to 1908 Wednesday, era of MERCURY.

1908 to 1944, Tuesday, era of MARS.

1944/45 to 1980/81, Monday, era of the MOON.

1981 to 2017, Sunday, era of the SUN.

2017 to 2053, Saturday, era of SATURN.

In this new era ruled by Saturn:

Among things to avoid:

Immature & close-minded individuals.

Dysfunctional & ideological people.

Emotionally & Mentally ill individuals, groups, organizations.

Indecision, inactivity, laziness.

Inconsequential talk.

Tardiness.

Lack of Preparation.

One of the things that you will notice as Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto wane toward their new world conjunctions in 2020 is bad communication, poor acknowledgement in communications and tardiness, that is, people being late, or not showing up at all for scheduled appointments.

A person can always be found at their post, carrying out the duties needful for that time. And, as a result people know they can rely on such a person ? if he/she says that they will be there, then they will be be there.

But if a person is not punctual, then others cannot depend on that person (s) ? as they do not know where they will be if and when they should need him or her.

Associates will begin to feel that the person (s) cannot organize his/her own time and those doubts will seep into matters that go beyond just the clock, as it naturally raises the question: ?If he/she is careless about time, then what else is he/she careless about??

You will find that from the second half of 2019 into 2020 and beyond that acknowledgment, poor communications and tardiness will become more common.

As a result, it is best not to engage with groups, organizations and people who are subject to the influences of Saturn as the new Saturn-era throughout the world will see the trend of thoughts looking upon the grimmer, or darker side of things to the point of having to deal with people who are not reliable.

This is because the vibrations that are received by the thought cells of populations under Saturn will be self-centered, heavy and morose.

Always running behind in matters regarding the future simply hurts people in all areas of life.

What you will see under the new planetary world transits is lost opportunities for people who have become lazy and not mindful of the transits time.

It creates stress and results in embarrassment. Saturn's influence can make life much more complicated for those whose behavior have become self-centered - and for men and women seeking to simplify their lives it means that cultivating punctuality is essential.

Saturn's rays lack in buoyancy. Being inflexible as a planet, most people will allow pessimism and negativity to abound in their attitudes and behavior.

This is because Saturn imparts to their thought cells feelings that cause half of all people to work from dark and cloudy inner weather - thus attracting loss, responsibility and want.

As Saturn's vibrations are negative, it means that many people will act out from angst, ignorance and fear at varying degrees.

The cures for this will be great fortitude, taking on responsibilities when applicable, and mature positive thinking to drive away the blues of Saturn.

However, expect the great majority of people to not do that.

Saturn influences one-half of all the losses and troubles experienced by humanity; and so it is wise to make preparations for this into the 2020s.

The afflictions of Saturn are usually due to a lack of something; which is why a dutiful, studious and preparation-minded attitude is required.

Attitudes must not be wishful or magical thinking; nor on time- wasters & lazy-daisies and/or false positivism based on nothing more than outright hypocrisy, but rather based true steady maturity, common sense, tough love with practical thoughts to match practical behavior and actions.

With Saturn as planetary lord of the era (2017-2053) this means to avoid dysfunctional individuals and groups so as to avoid the crystallization of Saturn's dense rays.

Saturn's fixed hexagon on its north pole directs a powerful electromagnetic resonance of low frequency sound that conducts toward crystallizing Saturn's inherent features.

All the planets of our solar system, including the Sun work as a 'system' of electromagnetic forces.

The result is that the electromagnetic energies pass through the Earth's north magnetic pole and exits through the south magnetic pole.

What this does is that it produces a powerful electromagnetic space curve, or a helix that travels from the Earth's south pole to north pole as the Earth turns on its own axis around the barycenter - which is the rotating center of our solar system.

Particular planets that serve as 'planetary lord' over a span of 36-year periods have their own unique electromagnetic frequencies which rule an era.

We have recently left the era of the Sun (1981-2017) which was the cause of solar-forced global warming.

But as the era of the Sun began winding down in 2003, the Earth has been heading for a new era - that of Saturn.

Saturn's era will be far different than the era of the great broad era of the Sun, and since 2016-17 we had been in transition into that era. It is now underway just as the decade of the 2020s begins.

It is also very important to remember that the new conjunction and long-lasting Saturn-Pluto effect takes place in tropical Capricorn, a zodiacal Sign known for being very serious, diligent and all-business.

I urge those reading this not to allow others to act as distractions to what you have to accomplish in the months ahead, or you will be sorry.

The fact is that the major disruptions of daily life, while very expensive to many tens of millions of people, also will serve for some as a blessing in disguise to make major changes in their lives.

Podcast 217 - Back to the Basics

There is a lot going on in the world right now. A raucous presidential primary season. A virus on the edge of pandemic state. An uncertain economy. Many lives are being shaken to the core, with no seeming end to the trauma and drama.

In the midst of this chaos, we are going to take a big step back. Back to the basics. Let's pick up "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace Waddles and pull a few lines from Chapter 4 in that book to refresh and reset our conscious - and subconscious - minds.

Podcast 216 - Non-Linear Causality & Your Way of Being

I am finishing an audiobook for Fred Dodson now called Time Travel: Through Consciousness and Advanced Technology and it is awesome! It will be out on audiobook in March, but meanwhile I wanted to pull a theme from Chapter 7 in the book that is worth the whole price! Let's talk about our "way of being" and how things show up in our life. As Fred puts it - Non-Linear Causality.

222 - Non Linear Causality Transcription

[00:00:00] and welcome back to another subconscious mind mastery podcast. Thomas and Majona in the booth. Rocking and rolling in here. Welcome everyone. We really are. We were listening to, so Dennis D. Young was the lead singer of sticks back in the day. Allianz and I was playing come sail away and just rocking in this booth with sheet.

[00:00:27] The acoustics are amazing. And found out that he's coming to Dallas in the summer, so we're going to check out and see. Maybe we'll go to that. We were blasting from the past and, Hey, I'm sorry I can't listen to that stuff today. Well, I'm right there with you. I don't understand it, but those of you who do, that's great.

[00:00:44] I love you. And I love the love the people who make the music that brighten our lives. Even our 17 year old Brock listens to Johnny Cash.

[00:00:56] I mean, now that is doing it right. Yeah. See, see these young people, there is hope for the future Majona. There's hope for them that they know they have a musical ear. They're like, this stuff today has got to change. Anyway, sorry, we degress so first of all, thank you for all your notes on the Facebook page.

[00:01:15] If you guys are not on there. We both have one. Majora has life after life radio, and I have subconscious mind mastery, which kind of is subconscious mind mastery. And the other podcast that I'm doing every day called fun astrology, and that's kind of where the party is because I'm doing those every day now.

[00:01:32] And just following the energy as it affects our lives. For a quick little blip that is posted at 4:00 AM central time every morning, so you can get up and as many people in the comments say, have your coffee and listen to what's going on in the, in the energetic world above. You know what I think is the coolest part of that is to go back and look in retrospect.

[00:01:58] That was the energy. Okay? [00:02:00] Globally, what happened that day? Because it's amazing. If you don't see it in your own life, look globally and boom, it's there. Well, and that's a great parlay to what we're going to. Pick apart today because here's the thing. When you think about, we still see in the comments on Facebook, your page, this page and emails that we get, you're seeing that people have an amped up increased.

[00:02:27] Challenge and struggle in their life. So we're seeing it in social media. You see it in the context of social gatherings, and it just seems like the whole world is kind of on edge, and now you throw this potential pandemic into things and it's like, yeah, wow. In fact, as we're recording this right now, that one of the top headlines, if you searched today's news, is the locusts that have invaded Africa.

[00:02:56] Have you seen that I have not. So the locusts have, they say they're wiping out entire fields of crops in 30 seconds and people are saying, and then you throw in the Corona virus, our people are saying, is this a biblical proportion kind of plague? You know? So I think that's the global energy that people are feeling.

[00:03:19] And the biggest concern I have around that is if people go to fare and panic because there's always lessons to be learned and love is stronger. So I'm in the middle of a Fred Dodson audio book, which always refreshes my soul. It's called time travel. Through consciousness and advanced technology.

[00:03:39] Recently published in 2020 we're going to get the audio book out and released hopefully in March, 2020 and we're going to make a couple of references to that because it just, you know, whenever you get around Fred Dodson's material, it's just good for you. It's good for your soul, it's good for your consciousness, it's good for your energy level.

[00:03:59] And then just the [00:04:00] concept of time travel. Hello, who's not curious and interested in that and is it a possibility? Yes. I think you and I time traveled the day we met, I think so many times since that to past life experiences. So listen, here's the thing, and one of the things that came up from this book is if you're in, like Fred saying, if you're going to time travel.

[00:04:23] One of the things you do is you set focuses and an in intentions, and that's all in the book. We'll, get Fred on here too, and I'm sure he'll want to talk about it because he was very excited about this topic. But here's the thing, if you focus on seeing so many challenges. Then what kind of energy does that put you in seeing so many challenges?

[00:04:49] Challenging energy. Absolutely. So I'm dancing between a thin line and my, I'd like your comments on this and everybody I know would have their own opinions on this. When you see trends in the news in social media, when you see email trends and you pick up on what's going on in the collective consciousness in the world where we, like when we had our Saturn Pluto get together, were about what, 15 people there, and I asked the question, how many of you have felt more adjuncts in the last about six months?

[00:05:27] Every hand went up. So from the position of more so along the lines of. observation, you realize and see more people are getting re like relationships are breaking up, financial challenges, death even. And you see that on an increased basis, throw in a pandemic and locusts, you know, then are we focusing our attention on something or can we step back from [00:06:00] that and observe it.

[00:06:02] And play with that energy. I think it's yes, and honestly I think that because our human experiences and we signed up to experience a huge range. That the universe gives us opportunities to experience those, right? We get opportunities to panic. We get opportunities to experience deep peace and love in either extreme.

[00:06:28] And everything between your choice is how to deal with it. So when you know, everybody knows someone who can be very, very calm in a crisis situation, and there are those that panic in a crisis situation, there's choice. Which do you choose to be. Well, if you are hearing this podcast, then you have chosen to be on the earth during the Saturn Pluto conjunction, and that, as we've talked about at links on here and on the fun astrology podcast, very frequently is an energy that is still very much with us and will be with us for really most of 2020.

[00:07:10] This is deal with your stuff. Bring up massive transformation into whole new realms of consciousness if you're awake and alert to it so we can observe that. We can go back in history and realize that it was under this similar kind of pattern, that the American revolution and the declaration of independence in the birth of the 13 original States that are now the 50 States of America began.

[00:07:38] We can see that. Protestantism began and relief from the oppression of Catholic domination began, and the beginning of the Renaissance area era began back in the 13 hundreds so we can observe from history and know that there is, there is transformational energy at play. But here's the thing with that, those [00:08:00] are major institutional changes.

[00:08:03] Where does all of that begin? Individual level, right? So everybody going through right now and personal upheaval and the dark night of the soul, all that really unpleasant stuff is your call to action. It is the universe prompting you on a very deep soul level to do some self evaluation and make changes that sweats leads to the big institutional changes.

[00:08:30] Absolutely. I mean, it was those, those . People with an accent who called themselves Americans back in the day. I don't know what you'd be talking to them, right. Those people felt the call for independence. It was one little, rebel monk, Martin Luther who said, we doing it this way no more. Mr. Pope. Well, maybe not quite like that.

[00:08:53] There would have been more hip, it would've been more hip, more colorful. Hey Pope, we ain't doing well anyway. Yeah, that we keep the expletive banner away from this podcast. So, but anyway, look, you can observe those changes. You can observe the fact that this energy is powerful. Definitely down to your toes.

[00:09:19] So here's this other point that Fred made. Chapter seven in this book, time travel through consciousness and advanced technology is worth chapter seven alone. Even if you didn't touch the whole time travel piece. It's kind of an interlude chapter where he talks about nonlinear causality. Oh, I love it.

[00:09:41] That's a big word. Okay, so what does it mean? Would you explain how you got from that . Right? Well, I think because people, humans are linear. We look at time as linear. There's a before and after the present. And that's how we look at cause and effect. Science teaches us [00:10:00] to look at cause and effect. But Fred is saying, and in a quantum sense, it's not linear.

[00:10:07] It's very, very web, like very interwoven. And that is exactly what Fred talks about. So let's do a cause and effect. Okay, so let's say that you walk into a bank with a pistol and you demand money. You put the money in a pillow case, you run outside the bank. Now today with sophisticated cameras and early warning systems and alarms.

[00:10:32] There are police waiting right outside for you. They capture you, they take you down, they take your gun away, you go to jail. There's video evidence of the event. So you are sentenced to a term in jail that's cause and effect, right? Based on our legal system. Yes. Okay. Now, what Fred is saying is if you have.

[00:10:54] Greed, or let's say covetousness, to use a biblical word, right? If you covet the money that's in the bank, or if you're greedy about that money or let's even bring it into maybe more applicable terms, you feel that you don't have enough money. That's a way of being that is in the absence of linear time and space.

[00:11:21] The same cause that will set up the trip of dominoes, of other things that come from being without money. Right. And you can even take that farther back, you know, say as a child, your growing up on a farm and. It's depression time and the, your father goes to try to get a loan from the first national bank and he's declined.

[00:11:47] You lose the farm. Now you're in poverty and in your mind as you're growing up, the first national bank is to blame for that. For all of your hardships, the meals that you didn't get, how [00:12:00] hard you had to work at such a young age to contribute to your fine family's survival. Then as an adult, even though you don't really necessarily dwell on that any longer, if you find yourself stuck in a tough financial situation and maybe you're not approved for a loan or some other catastrophe happens immediately, the first national bank comes to mind.

[00:12:25] All right? That's where you Rob, and so it's not linear time. It's really pulling from other circumstances throughout your whole life. It's that energy of negativity that you held towards first national bank for all of those years, that surface later, and because that energy was triggered from that childhood experience, we call that.

[00:12:47] Subconscious programming. Exactly. Hello, how did we come to name this podcast? Because those experiences, think about this. Now connect these dots, those experiences imprint who we become energetically that trigger these nonlinear unconnected. Results seemingly and connected. Exactly. That's the whole point is that what Fred is saying is that when you become that lack of money or that resentment toward the bank.

[00:13:29] Then that can trigger a whole wide series of nonlinear. Or in other words, it wasn't that, you know, you went in, you robbed, you got arrested, you went to jail. It's, that's a linear progression, right? But it is the whole dynamic of your life that then gets threaded around that way of being, you know, really good examples of this are, I think, present day movies.

[00:13:54] People really like those movies that take it deeper. So. In this case, that [00:14:00] might be a movie line. And then you're really thinking, okay, this person, if the movie starts out that way, wow, what is this guy doing? Trying to steal everybody's money? And then it goes back and shows you the backstory, and now you have empathy for the guy.

[00:14:13] So you're saying like our culture supports victim hood in that sense? It does. Absolutely. So Fred's point in the book is that these events that happen in our life. Are mostly tied to our way of being or our state. So if somebody says everything bad always happens to me, I can't get a break. And that's their state of being.

[00:14:43] And they observe their life and they see that that is absolutely justified and they look at this material and they say, well, yeah, you talk about all that reality creating and manifesting stuff and all that, but it doesn't work. Are they ever going to get out of that loop? Of course not. Because where your energy is is what you will continue to attract.

[00:15:03] Now, here's the key. It may not be on that action reaction or action reward. Sequence of linear causality that we're talking about. So in other words, you might be in that negative state and something happens that's positive, right? Yes. But the global theme of your life is going to continue to produce that according to which you are attracting from your perspective.

[00:15:34] You know, one thing I think is so powerful, Joe Dispenza's book, you are the placebo. He talks about over 90% of your thoughts every day are one repetitious and two subconscious. So your state of being, if you aren't by nature or by programming a negative person, then most of those thoughts are negative thoughts, which is going [00:16:00] to bring more negative.

[00:16:02] Energies into your life as things that happen to you to perpetuate your lack of self control and victimhood. And again, borrowing from the book, there's one line in there where he says, basically you are programmed subconsciously by repetition. So what you constantly feed your mind is the programming. It is, and it's, it is a real effort conscious.

[00:16:30] Determined effort to change that. So I think the lesson from all of this is as we're seeing these headlines, as we're seeing the things around us, as we watch videos, I guess at some point of crops being destroyed in 30 seconds by locusts, and as we see friends and family succumbing to illnesses or loss, or even losing people close to us that we look around.

[00:16:59] By observation, and I think this is the real key thing to drill down on, not only in your own own life. You have to observe what you are doing. What are you telling herself? And this is where we have to stop our pattern in our daily life enough to get our journal out and do this work where we analyze and review magenta.

[00:17:20] And I did this on a walk just yesterday. Where are we? We started to look at, are there any. Cogs in the wheel. Are there any bad thoughts? Are there any repetitious thoughts or as Majona was saying, things that you resist? That's another big clue. If you're resisting something, anything in your conversation, your thoughts or your actions, that's a big clue that that's a piece of this programming.

[00:17:47] So the point there is to identify it as an observer. So when you see these things going on around you, does that mean that that has to apply to you. [00:18:00] It does not necessarily apply to you, although probably most of the time it will if it's, if it's resonating with you and getting your attention, but no matter what the situation, I think the real point is to look at this and try to be objective.

[00:18:15] Take your emotion out and say, what are the lessons here? What can I gain from this? Several years ago, Thomas and I were snow skiing and I just made a really stupid mistake and felt my knee pop and found myself lying in the snow trying to protect any further damage that turned out to be a broken tibia and two torn knee ligaments.

[00:18:43] And literally as I was lying there waiting for someone to help, all I could think about was. There is no way. This is about one stupid mistake I just made. What is the real lesson here? What is this really about? And that set you on a long, I mean, an extended journey of self exploration. Yeah, because I'm stubborn.

[00:19:06] It's the universe can't just give me a clue what it's about. It's going to have to show me repeatedly. I got it. And see, that's where I've approached this energy from this perspective. Here's how I've adapted to it. This is the most transformational energy that we have seen on this planet since the year 1518 I'm going to get my piece of it.

[00:19:28] I'm going to be a part of it with ease and grace, ease and grace, and I am going to open up to the transformation that comes up as it comes up and as each one of these layers of the onion starts to peel, I am going to do the work. And I want the universe's support to work on it with me and to do it in a, in a as Benefic away as I will allow and I'm really been open to allowing it to be Benefic you are being actually here.

[00:19:55] Amazing with that. I think having an accountability partner [00:20:00] is also very helpful, but even if you don't have one, Thomas and I serve in that capacity for each other. But you know yourself better than anybody else knows you. And Thomas will come up with things that I wouldn't necessarily realize for him.

[00:20:16] And he'll say, you know, let's talk about this. Let's explore this. So Thomas, how do you recognize those parts of you that are so deep? I can't even see them. Wow. We try to keep these to 20 minutes. We just blew the 20 minutes question. Well, it goes back to number one, when, I changed everything in 2008, 2009, I had to find another way of being, or I was done, you know?

[00:20:49] So I had to find a different life. I had to find a different way of living. That sent me on a quest because I had zero tools or zero knowledge of what we so freely communicate on here. Now, I had none of that, so I had to start with learning about it, acquiring research, study, listening to books, listening to audios, videos, et cetera.

[00:21:14] Now, do you remember that course that we went to over in Lewisville at Joy's bookshop where that guy pointed at me and he said, you see how hungry this guy is for this knowledge? I do. That I think is probably the key. That number one, I have just for the last decade, have been on a self-driven every day desire to improve my life, and that's just core to who I am now.

[00:21:40] I rarely have a day that I'm not just completely focused on how I, what one thing, if, if nothing else, one thing that I could pick up that I, where I could improve my life. So that's one. The second came through like doing so much work around Fred Dodson and picking up that way of [00:22:00] being, where intuition became one of the key things that I started to follow.

[00:22:06] And that came from all those hiking trail. Class sessions in Colorado of getting in tune with the inside. So I think there's an increased perception. Or an ability to tone down the mind, turn up the intuition. And you notice a lot of those come when we're walking out there, and that's one of my favorite times, but when they come up, when that intuition comes up, it's like the Malcolm Gladwell blink theory that.

[00:22:35] All of a sudden now it's the blink. So you don't argue with, Oh yeah, I can work on that later. No, when those things hit your consciousness for that very spark, and sometimes it's just a little spark, now I reach in and grab onto that and I hold onto it and I magnify it so that that becomes a topic of discussion.

[00:22:56] And, and by bringing it up to you or starting to journal about it, or just starting to think about it in my mind, and I kind of have the same pattern. I go back to when it first showed up. I look at the situation and the circumstances around it. I look at how I responded to it. So that's what created the programming, and then I start to look in the opposite direction.

[00:23:20] That's my little formula. And that is changing a habit, right? Because like you said, you often think, Oh, I'll deal with it later and later never happens. It has to be now, Nadia, not only even a habit, it's a way of being. So I think, you know, to replicate what we just said there is number one, you have to have that hunger to change your life.

[00:23:39] If you don't have that. Absolute passion, yearning to change your life. Then you're just dabbling in this stuff because you try to want to make a little something better. Have you ever noticed a Starbucks at morning drive time and or a Chick-fil-A at lunchtime would be another analogy? How many people are [00:24:00] in the drive through.

[00:24:01] And you can park your car and walk 45 feet into an empty line. Right. We are a drive through mentality. We will sit for 20 minutes in our car so that we don't have to get out of our car. Yeah. Just wait on me. Serve me. So apply that to spirituality. And it becomes that we become robotics. So let's think about our linear causality in life.

[00:24:27] The alarm goes off, you get up, you take a shower, you get the kids ready. If you have kids, if you don't have kids, then you get yourself ready and you get out the door. You go sit in traffic, you go to a job. Basically you have somebody else tell you what to do for the next eight to 10 hours of your life.

[00:24:41] You do all of that. For a paycheck, which we need, and then you fight traffic back home and you, if you have kids, help them with their homework, pick them up, take them to their events, et cetera. It may be you go for a walk, maybe you go to the gym, you sit down in front of the television, you watch some TV because it's mind neutralizing, and then you go to bed, rinse and repeat times five.

[00:25:02] Okay, where is consciousness in there? There's not a lot of consciousness. It's survival. Yeah. And that's why we don't see this stuff. We have to break the pattern now. Yes. I was lucky enough at a point in my life created, I'm not going to say lucky, created a point in my life where I opened up a couple of years window.

[00:25:23] And didn't, I mean, stumbled into it, but that time in Colorado was my time to really get conscious with this process. If you don't have that ability or if you don't have that, you know, dedicated step away from. Your culture and get into an environment where you can work that through. You can absolutely create it with all of these tools.

[00:25:47] Fred Dodson's audio books. Fred's got a great membership site. We're getting ready to create a membership site that we're going to invite you into when we get that established Magenta's podcast on talking about the [00:26:00] nonphysical realm, her angel and guide meditation, and. And, also readings that she's doing.

[00:26:06] I mean, all of this stuff that we've created, our resources and tools for you to be able to create that environment in your own world right now. So let's look at that real briefly as a nonlinear linear causality. Ah, good point. You opened up to a new way of being many years before you were presented with the opportunity to go to Aspen and focus on this.

[00:26:32] Yeah, that's true. But that during that whole time you're, you're in the RV and all the whole time since then, you've been very focused on the changes and. Being self employed and having to the flexibility to travel and be who you want. That's been your focus is who do I want to be? So it didn't happen right away.

[00:26:54] And I do believe a piece of that is the universe fully supporting you. Because if that would've happened too early, you would not have gotten nearly as much out of it as you did. Yeah, that is a great point. And it brings up the point that we're trying to make here. You have to become what you want. If you want to be a millionaire, you have to be a millionaire right now.

[00:27:19] Yeah, but Thomas, I can't rub two nickels together in my bank account. How can I be a millionaire? You have to become that in your, not just your mind. I am a millionaire. I'm a millionaire. I am a millionaire. No, you have to be that in your consciousness. You. It's a deeper state than just affirmations or repetitions.

[00:27:39] Now you get that by every day that you wake up, you be a millionaire. Yeah. But I don't have two nickels. Nothing's happening. That's where you're in the cause and effect the linear progression. So don't think that just because on the day that you're listening to this episode, all of a sudden you decide to be a millionaire.

[00:28:00] [00:27:59] Great. What's next? Ah, you might go in debt. Yeah. We're not advocating that. You know, you might, bad things might happen. Something else might take place. It's non linear. But you hold, I am a millionaire. I am a millionaire. And you through repetition. And emotion reprogram your subconscious and you keep holding that than a non linear sequence.

[00:28:29] Sequence of events will eventually present themselves. That will take you in that destination, in that direction. Now, here's the other thing. The question then comes up, well, how long does it take for that to manifest? Ah, as soon as you ask that question. It's not manifest well and you are not in that state.

[00:28:50] Right. I said, I played with this with Majona yesterday. I still have my little miracle Jeep that I got when I was, the year in the RV in 2009. It's still doing great. It still looks great. It has 170,000 miles on it. It's still going strong. I still love that vehicle and I. I put my hand up on the dashboard, like I'm petting, it's a little back.

[00:29:11] If it were a cat, and I'm saying, I love you. I love you. I do. I send it love because, I just really appreciate the universe giving me that vehicle. And as I was saying this to my Gianna, I wonder when I'm going to own a Jeep. You know, I've always wanted to own a Jeep. I wonder when that's going to happen.

[00:29:30] What do you think that'll happen? Magena you know, I asked him, Hey, Majona, when do you think it'll happen? That I own a Jeep? And she goes, you already do, you know it's that I own a Jeep. I would never ask that question, right? So why would I even ask, when is my Jeep going to show up? Wait a minute. You know, look outside, it's there.

[00:29:51] It is kind of fun to play with time, take out the linear aspect and, and it kind of opens, we think of it as make-believe or imagination. [00:30:00] Because we think it has to be linear. Have fun with it. All right, let's cut this one off for now. We've gone way over time. Sorry about that, but this was just going to good to say.

[00:30:09] Let's stop. So thank you for hanging in there with us. We will see you back again soon. I've got a thing coming up from him at, we're going to go to Colorado and talk to my buddy him at about some yoga stuff and we have more coming up so we will see you next time. Thank you so much for listening. Enjoy the journey.
