This is a special edition created for Resonance FM's 2024 fundraising appeal with award-winning Scottish composer, Michael Begg, the Friends of Scott Polar Research Institute 2024 musician in residence, while on his 6-week voyage in Antarctica on board HMS Protector, gathering field recordings and sketching new compositions. To highlight Resonance's fundraising drive, he's done us the great honour of exclusively providing us with some of the work he's made so far in the first week of his trip.
