Sister Faustina is going to ask Christ for a greater intellect in order to better understand Him, which is the most perfect reason of all. However, it is often common that we want to have a greater intellect in order to puff up our own ego or make us the smartest person in the room. We need to make sure that if are seeking a great intellect that we are doing it for all the right reasons.
