Robert Trusko is a well recognized musician, composer, engineer, and producer in Dallas, TX. Through his musicianship, Robert has performed across the world with notable artists including Aloe Blacc, Robert Randolph, Eric McFadden (Parliament Funkadelic), Greg Spero, Robert “Sput” Searight, RC Williams, Cleon Edwards (Erykah Badu), Jaguar Wright (The Roots, Jay-Z), Doug Wimbish (Living Colour, Sugar Hill Records, Lauryn Hill), Black Ice (Def Poetry Jam), and Danny Gotlieb (Pat Metheny). As an educator, Robert Trusko also served for several years as an Interim Professor of Ableton Live at the University of North Texas.

Philip Meyer is a software developer, artist, and educator based in Los Angeles. He makes devices for generating rhythms and melodies for Ableton Live, most recently a collection of several generative MIDI Tools for Ableton Live 12. He is also the creator of the Rhythm and Time Toolkit, and package for Max MSP for modular sequencing.
Philip’s goal is to create playful, intuitive, and powerful sequencing devices that help artists to discover new musical forms. Driving Philip’s design approach is the goal to blur the line between composition and performance, in which an artist creates a thoughtful, deliberate composition but works fluidly and intuitively.

Jesse Terry joined Ableton in 2005 working in artist and partner relations, which led him to help design the first dedicated Ableton controller, the APC40 (made in collaboration with Akai Professional). Since that time he built up a hardware team at Ableton focused on making Ableton Push and looking towards the future of hardware at Ableton. His work at Ableton includes looking into sustainability, manufacturing and user experience – but his main focus is making the product he uses every day better for the variety of users who have adopted it. He is a multi-instrumentalist and student of many kinds of music; in his free time he plays guitar, bass and keys and produces electronic and hip-hop under the alias Jethroe and with his band Countach. Alexia Riner is an electronic music producer, sound designer, installation artist and DJ, who specializes in building complex soundscapes for a range of media. In this episode Ableton Certified Trainer -Orville Kline and Dan Giffin review Ableton's new Push 3 features, among other topics.
Orville Kline has been a Chicago-based Ableton Certified Trainer since 2009. He's DJ'ed on 4 continents at major festivals including EDC Vegas, Ultra Miami, Ultra Europe, Spring Awakening, North Coast, Summer Camp, Electric Forest, and many others. Orville also hosted major music events which later turned into the live group "Porn and Chicken", which quickly became one of the most recognized party events in The Midwest, USA.
Orville was a resident on Chicago’s EDM radio show, The Electric Playground, along with fellow residents including Green Velvet, Morgan Page and Mark Farina. In 2019, he played samples and keys in the legendary industrial super-group Pigface during their US tour, which included guest members Randy Blythe of Lamb of God and Danny Carey of Tool.
In 2021, his track "Pressure" was used in a commercial that won an International Cannes Lions Grand Prix award. In addition, Orville's music has released on a dozen different record labels.

Jaenga (Patrick) is a dubstep producer, DJ, and filmmaker. His journey in music and video began when he opened a film studio in NYC, gaining major label clients like Steve Aoki, Lil Wayne, Lorde, and working with MTV as a filmmaker. KJ SAWKA is a well-established drummer, producer, and DJ in the electronic music scene. Max Wild is the founder of 343 Labs, a music production and performance school based in New York City and Berlin. He's a Zimbabwean-raised multi-instrumentalist, producer, and educator whose diverse musical influences range from electronica sounds to jazz, afro-pop, and more. Zach Montoya is the Lead Instructor and Content Curator at Hyperbits, an online platform teaching music production. Syence’s latest single “a little bit bored”, which was released in February of 2021 and features German pop singer-songwriter Ruuth, went viral and generated more than 20 million plays on Triller prior to release. Misty Jones is a Nashville-based music producer and assistant professor at Middle Tennessee State University and has been an Ableton Live user since 2007. She went on to receive a Master of Music degree in Music Technology Innovation at Berklee Valencia in Spain, where she developed her “Orbit Suit,” using Live and controllers to “remix” a guitar player in real time on stage. In addition to teaching synthesis, MIDI and Ableton Live at MTSU, she devotes time to the scholarly research of pop music evolution and trends, training producers and developing curriculum. In her spare time, she loves remixing, mashups and sample/granular-based composition.

Sophie Payten is a singer-songwriter from Australia and releases music as Gordi. She’s been featured in multiple TV series and films like The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries, and supported major artists like Bon Iver, Of Monsters and Men, The Tallest Man on Earth, and others. She also sang backup vocals on The Tonight Show and her latest album Our Two Skins was nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album, Australian Music Prize, and Australian Album of the Year.

In this episode, Rossteaux and Dan talk about their process behind running CitySound Indy, a virtual music festival with 19 artists using next-gen software.
CitySound Indy is an online music festival on New Years Eve with 2 stages hosting some of Indy’s more recognized electronic music producers and DJ’s. With 19 local acts performing on two virtual “stages”, CitySound NYE is a free online festival raising awareness about homelessness in Indy, while also providing financial support to those who need it most this Winter.
The event was founded by Ross Phillips, a full-time lighting programmer, laser operator, entertainment designer, and system tech for many highly regarded festivals and gatherings. He partnered with Clark Crosser, the owner of LDR Studios in Noblesville, IN to create a virtual (green screen) environment for the artists to perform in.
