The Olkaria geothermal power station in Kenya opened four decades ago. It’s located in Hell’s Gate National Park and was originally conceived as a research project. But today it’s a viable commercial business that generates electricity using steam rising from deep in the ground. And it’s a renewable source that could bring energy to millions.
