Today’s episode reviews a blog article by the World Bank entitled "From Chalkboards to Chatbots: Transforming Learning in Nigeria, One Prompt at a Time" that was published on January 9, 2025.
Hosts Daphne and Fred share their spirited analysis of this insightful article from the World Bank that summarizes a recent six-week study in Nigeria about how AI can help students learn more efficiently and faster.
The study found that improvements were experienced by all students, not just the most productive or motivated. It also found that AI seemed to eliminate any gender differences, with both males and females gaining roughly equal learning benefit from the use of AI.
