114: SparkED: laying the foundation for careers in data

To make analytics truly accessible to everyone, resources need to be available to set foundational skills. Ian Wiggins, Manager of Curriculum Development for the Alteryx SparkED program is working to provide these skills through "Data Essentials" - a free course that breaks down barriers to entry for beginners looking to start a career in analytics, or brush up on their data literacy.

The Alteryx SparkED education program empowers students to succeed in the data economy. Get hands-on practice with data analytics technology already in use at thousands of companies globally with a free educational software license.

Educators can also receive a free comprehensive teaching and learning program, including a free 1-year renewable education license for Designer software to help craft lesson plans that engage your students with real-world tools to solve business issues.
