Where were you on October 7th? Dvir and Maya Rosenfeld were hiding in their bomb shelter with an 11-month old, trying to keep their baby from crying and exposing them to the terrorists that had taken over their hometown– Kfar Aza.
They’d soon be the aunt and uncle to orphaned twins, friends of hostages and victims, and among the fortunate few to make it out of their homes alive. They are now unlikely spokespeople for the kidnapped who sadly have no voice.
If you’re feeling exhausted of hearing accounts of October 7th, you aren’t alone. But at a time when the events of the attacks are being questioned, it’s never been more important to document the loss of life and humanity at the hands of Hamas.
This their story.
