The lunar lander Odysseus, created by Houston-based company Intuitive Machines, successfully landed on the moon's surface at 6:24p ET Thursday and has sent back its first images. The moment marks the first commercial spacecraft to soft-land on the moon, and the first American spacecraft to land on the surface since NASA's Apollo program ended in 1972.
