The holy trinity is completed. As this season of OC comes to its ending, Sarah googles "fountain of youth" in an attempt to get a couple extra eps. Devastated that the only Google Images results are pictures of herself, she settles into downward dog position - named in honor of Alexis' trajectory and how exes have described John - and breathes through some thoughts and feels about the OC reunion completion - what Shan and Alexis shared post-reunion that truly sums up a victor/victim state, Sarah's fave lemon-scented conspiracy theory, confusion around that final post-reunion scene, and unanswered questions about Heather and Tamra, Tamra and Shannon's, sigh, reconciliation, the fascinating pressure on Katie and Jen to defend their *new* friendship with Alexis (vs. ya know two other folks sitting in silence on the couch), Emily Simpson, proud member of Shan Nation, Gina's continued MVP-role in acknowledging the difficulty of moving forward when shame is knocking on the door, Johnny J, the people's monster, and of course, the future for Shan.
