Kiefer interviews Braxton Cook, an exceptional saxophonist, vocalist, and producer originally from Washington D.C., now residing in Los Angeles. Braxton has released a series of albums since 2015 combining Black-American music forms like jazz, soul, and hip-hop. In addition to his solo work, Braxton has collaborated with Christian Scott, Tom Misch, and Mac Miller. In this interview, Kiefer and Braxton discuss Black music, music school, and Braxton's favorite alto sax players of all time.
