Arachne: An Infinity Game Podcast

Dr.D has the privilege to interview the company, Blindspot, about their new Infinity video game The Hexadrome Aristeia Showdown that just recently finished their first alpha test. We talk about the company, the game, and some of their potential future projects! Its a great talk and reveals some of the workings of how video games explore their ideas and create video games. We have decided to throw in another bonus episode since the previous episode was slightly shorter than usual. Same great content and it doesn't even push back any of your regular infinity content. Dr.D talks to Tactical Taylor from the network who has just started his own podcast for The Old World called Beards, Ears, and Skulls. Dr. D is a fanatic for Warhammer Fantasy and decided he would spread the news of the new (old) world with Taylor.

The boys (Dr.D and Brady T) talk about the new updates for the reinforcement game mode. We talk about where he profiles went and what we thought about how it came out. And of course terrible jokes to keep it all together. Come and joins us for the ride.

The boys (Dr.D and guest Lobo) start talking who the man behind the mask is that is Lobo. We go over his nerd origin story and some of the thoughts that go into his famous list building and game play style. Lobo is one of the best Infinity players in the world and promises to say something that could improve your own game. Come and give it a listen Arachnids!

The boys (Dr. D and Brady T.) talk about the previous year and the coming year for the show and Infinity in general. Of course they make some jokes and even speculate on what is coming from CB. Of course this was recorded before they showed off what the new sectorial was. So be amazed at Dr. D's ability to see the future!

The boys (Dr. D, Brady T, and Derek "Maurice") talk about their recent adventure at Everwinter 2. They talk about their thoughts and how Derek went about getting the event setup and how he went about running it. Also, like always they tell some terrible jokes. This comes out Christmas Day and we hope you have a very merry Christmas!

The.......fellas? (Dr. D and Erin) chat about how to bring your SOs into your gaming community and how to better approach taking time for yourself and for them. We now that not all relations are the same, but they explored what works for them and how it might help others out who are in similar situations.

The boys (Dr.D and Brady T) talk about the new manga put out by Corvus Belli in the Infinity universe. We make some bad jokes and try reading a book that Dr.D put all of his notes into.

The boys (Big D Derek and Dr. D) talk about how the New England Meta started and how he has continued to legacy of tournament running in the area since COVID. They talk a little bit about the old days and what it was like to be a young Derek. We tell some bad laughs and make fun of Dr. D a little and just have a real grand ol' time.

The boys (Brady T and Dr. D) go over Endsong (the actual book) and muse on the things that they found the most entertaining. Dat Hassassin part though right guys? Come along with them as they mention some things going on in their local areas and their take aways from the most recent Infinity book expansion.

Also, as always, some kind of audio equipment broke while recording the episode so the episode might end sorta abruptly.

The boys (Brady T and Dr. D) do a lore episode on Bureau TOPH and by extension some of O12. Due to the lack of profiles in the miniatures game for this specific part of O12, it is purely a lore discussion with some joking put in for good measure. Time to jump into the part of the lore that lead to the creation and supervision of ALEPH.

The boys, Brady T and Dr. D, talk about the new ITS 15 that has revealed itself a few weeks ago. They talk about the new scenarios and the scenario modifiers. They also make mistakes because they are dumb and have some laughs along the way. Why don't you come on it and listen?

Dr. D made a new friend and forced him with a blank check to come onto his podcast. Thankfully, that friend was Devin from the METAchemistry podcast. They talk about Devin's nerd backstory and get into some insights on how they think people can improve their Infinity gaming. They also laugh a whole bunch because they are both goofy goobers.

The Boys (Dr. D, Brady T, and Jake) talk about a recent event that happened at Queens Gambit in Methuen, Massachusetts. The episode was late due to some technical difficulties from their recording software so don't get too upset at them. They really are just doing the best they can.

The boys (Dr. D and Brady T) talk about the new game mode that uses Reinforcements. They go over the rules and their thoughts on how it will be function. The world is currently alight with opinions, so now its time to hear how the boys feel about it.

The boys (Dr. D and Brady T) start talking about things that you can apply to your practice games so that you can start to improve. They talk about some of the things that they have done in the past and want to do in the future in order to up their game so they can hit the sweet spot in the middle of the rankings, and maybe even get all the way to the top one day. Thankfully, we are not holding our breathes on that one.

Dr. Dyer invites on Mr. Mudloving Ian, the recent winner of the local Cube Free or Die event in order to pick his brain about how he plays his TAK. They go over some useful insights about the sectorial and have some fun along the way.

The boys (Brady T and Dr. D) explore the lore of the Imperial Service from Yu Jing. They review the profiles that they think epitome the sectorial while also exploring the lore of the profiles and how they fit into the great infinity universe.

The boys (Dr. D and Brady T.) talk about the Umbra and by extension the EI. They go over the lore that they could find on the subject as well as review the profiles that go along with the Umbra and some of the victims of the EI's persuasive brain magic.

The boys (Dr.D and Brady T) talk about Dr. D's experience at the most previous Cube Free or Die event. They review some things to consider before going to an event from the player side, and a few ideas on how to think about sportsmanship.

With our very first bonus episode we brought on one of the inspirations for the creation of the show, Mr. Quinn! Our beloved Mr. Quinn lives in Australia and is a huge fan of infinity even thought he does not get to play it as much as he would like. The boys talk about living in Aussie and the differences in the "meta" between America and Australia for a variety of games. They tell lots of bad jokes and have plenty of laughs along the way. The boys (Dylan and Brady) are coming in hot after the events at Ironweld to talk about their experiences and how to run events. Both of them are experienced with running or helping run events and decided that they were not experienced experts in the matter. They discuss how the listeners might want to go about running events of their own and how rewarding such an experience can be.

WARNING: Dr. D's microphone decided it didn't want to work anymore near the end of the episode. We salvaged what we could, but it gets choppy near the end.

Dr. D and Brady talk about The Observance of St. Mary of the Holy Knife of of the mothership Bakunin. They talk bits of lore that they could find and profiles. Dr. D even goes into what how he personally plays with the profiles! Hopefully everyone can get something from this episode!
