This weeks episode of Ask Dr Jessica will a discussion with child psychiatrist, Dr Carl Fleisher discussing gender dysphoria.  What is the explanation for the growing number of children and teenagers who are questioning their gender?  Is this a fad or trend? Or is it the sign of a more open society? How can parents best support a child who is feeling gender dysphoria?

Dr. Fleisher is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and also works in private practice in Beverly Hills. Dr. Fleisher attended Harvard Medical School, then completed his residency and fellowship training at UCLA.
