For the 13th episode, Ben interviews saxophonist and frequent Bodega Bay collaborator Kate Mohanty about her musical history and contribution to the original Bodega Bay album and ‘Cultural Consumer II’. The pair also discuss Kate’s fascination with/ Coltrane and the Velvets, her time in Parlor Walls, Ben’s experiments w/ deconstructive mixes, and the psychology behind free improvisation.
