Dr. Amy Joynt has a story similar to so many of us, she made it all the way to her late thirties without knowing she was ADHD. And once it was uncovered she was flooded with emotions.
She took all of those emotions and experiences and created a wonderful self-guided journal to help other late diagnosed ADHD women process their experience.
As I mention in the episode, the journal is part prompts and part memoir. It reads very much like sitting with a friend and having them say "this is my story, now you tell me yours".
It's inviting, thought provoking, and encouraging. Exactly what so many of us late diagnosed folks need when we're trying to navigate the muddy waters post-diagnosis.
"Unique Minds: A Self Guided Journal for Women to Process a Late ADHD Diagnosis" is available through most booksellers, online and in digital format.
