{Coaching} The Performance Trap of Modern Parenthood

Today’s episode is an on air coaching call. I’m helping Jacquie, a working mom of a 3 year old boy. 

Some of the themes we explore are: 

• Jacquie's anxiety. She has struggled with anxiety and depression most of her life but it got worst during pregnancy and after birth became more uncontrollable.
• Work-motherhood balance. Is it even attainable? 
• Guilt, how to cope with it? 
• Worthiness. Are you measuring your worth by your performance? 

Parenting is a relationship and for many career, task, achievement, performance oriented people it can be very frustrating and challenging as there are no performance reviews in parenting. There are no measurement of our performance. Many parents get stuck in what I call The Performance Trap.
