There are thousands upon thousands of series in Japan that are patiently waiting to get their change for a publication in North America. Sure, many fans can read them online from freelance translators, but having the official publication of a manga series finally released physically is a completely different feeling! That being said, it seems like many of the main distributors of manga outside of Japan don't really have their fingers to the pulse for what manga fans are truly asking for. Minecraft the manga? Dark Souls manga? More Boruto?!? Not to mention swapping digital series between apps??? This just screams 'suits in a conference room thinking they know weeb stuff...' Frankfurtter and MagicallyAverage go over some of the recent "big" manga announcements and talk about the ever growing gap of manga series not being translated over for English readers.
