Special Guest - Batman TAS Producer Alan Burnett

Our hosts return and welcome another incredible guest onto the pod! The one and only, Alan Burnett (story editor and producer of Batman the Animated Series).

His other credits include: Producer of Superman TAS, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and all other DCAU shows. As well as being the co-writer of the current Batman the Adventure Continues comics and the producer of so many DC animated films.

Alex and Will discuss Alan's relation to the character Charlie Collins in the episode JOKER'S FAVOR and how they came to be. Plus, Alan shares how he came up with the origin story for Two-Face in the DCAU, why he likes villains like Scarface or Clayface, and what he thinks of the episode, THE TERRIBLE TRIO.

Alan then shares the stories of when he was in the same room as Alfred Hitchcock (one of his idols) and how Hitchcock influenced Batman the Animated Series. Plus, he discusses his current collaborative work with Paul Dini on Batman the Adventure Continues comics, and his memories of Kevin Conroy.
