We come to the end to the year of 1863 with the final two battles of the year. Starting out the episode, we have the battle of Bean's Station where Confederate Lt. Gen. James Longstreet attacks a Union Army Cavalry led by BG. Gen. James M. Shackelford at Bean Station, Tennessee. Out final battle of year sees a small skirmish at the battle of Mossy Creek in Jefferson County, Tennessee where Confederate Maj. Gen. William T. Martin commander of Longstreet's cavalry attacked Union Brig. Gen. Samuel D. Sturgis and his men at Talbott's Station sending them back to Mossy Creek where the battle lasted about 7 hours.
