When the bards of Quraish - masters of the Arabic language - heard the Quran, they knew that it was indeed divine revelation. But their refusal to speak the truth has stripped them of the light of Allah, leaving them deaf, dumb and blind. It’s a principle of God’s creation that if you don’t exercise the instinct that He has given you, then he will take it away.
