🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6, Verse 10:
योगी युञ्जीत सततमात्मानं रहसि स्थित: |
एकाकी यतचित्तात्मा निराशीरपरिग्रह: || 10||
yogī yuñjīta satatam ātmānaṁ rahasi sthitaḥ
ekākī yata-chittātmā nirāśhīr aparigrahaḥ
🔴Living in solitude, alone, with controlled mind and self, free from cravings, owing nothing, the Yogin ought to apply himself to Yoga incessantly.
🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6, Verse 11:
शुचौ देशे प्रतिष्ठाप्य स्थिरमासनमात्मन: |
नात्युच्छ्रितं नातिनीचं चैलाजिनकुशोत्तरम् || 11||
śhuchau deśhe pratiṣhṭhāpya sthiram āsanam ātmanaḥ
nātyuchchhritaṁ nāti-nīchaṁ chailājina-kuśhottaram
🔴Setting one's firm seat.in a clean spot, neither too high nor too low, covered with a cloth, or hide, and Kusa grass, one over the other;
🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6, Verse 12:
तत्रैकाग्रं मन: कृत्वा यतचित्तेन्द्रियक्रिय: |
उपविश्यासने युञ्ज्याद्योगमात्मविशुद्धये || 12||
tatraikāgraṁ manaḥ kṛitvā yata-chittendriya-kriyaḥ
upaviśhyāsane yuñjyād yogam ātma-viśhuddhaye
🔴Sitting on it, making the mind one-pointed, controlling the activities of the mind and the senses, let the practitioner apply himself to Yoga for self-purification.
🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6, Verse 13:
समं कायशिरोग्रीवं धारयन्नचलं स्थिर: |
सम्प्रेक्ष्य नासिकाग्रं स्वं दिशश्चानवलोकयन् || 13||
samaṁ kāya-śhiro-grīvaṁ dhārayann achalaṁ sthiraḥ
samprekṣhya nāsikāgraṁ svaṁ diśhaśh chānavalokayan
🔴Holding the body, head and neck evenly and steadily, the resolute Yogin fixe his gaze on the tip of his nose, not looking around.
🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6, Verse 14:
प्रशान्तात्मा विगतभीर्ब्रह्मचारिव्रते स्थित: |
मन: संयम्य मच्चित्तो युक्त आसीत मत्पर: || 14||
praśhāntātmā vigata-bhīr brahmachāri-vrate sthitaḥ
manaḥ sanyamya mach-chitto yukta āsīta mat-paraḥ
🔴With the inner sense tranquilized, fear gone, established in the vow of chastity, controlling the mind, thoughts anchored in Me, the integrated Yogin should sit, intent on Me.
