What a delight this episode is...to finally sit down and chat with the man who created our theme music! Francis is a composer, player, engineer, producer, YouTuber, streamer, creator, and TEACHER. He has all the hats, and despite the pandemic and a pulmonary embolism that could have killed him, he had an amazing year as a creator in 2020, with major music outlets heaping praise on his work as Old Man Wizard, King Gorm, and his solo work. He also just announced that an animated fantasy series he worked on the score for was picked up for distribution...The Spine of Night, produced by Joe Manganiello and Lucy friggin' Lawless. It's really nice to hear that somebody actually had a good year in 2020! Francis is contemplative and has interesting takes on many aspects of the music business.
