Andrea teaches songwriting at the University of Californiaâs Thornton School of Music, and is the author and instructor of Berklee College of Musicâs online course âCommercial Songwriting Techniques.â

During the interview we talked about what it means to be a staff writer, the songwriter as producer, if lyrics or music should come first, placeholder lyrics, and much more.
