The murder of Michael Jordan's father, James Jordan, was a very sad story that led to Michael Jordan retiring from Basketball in 1993. In 1996 Daniel Green was convicted for the murder based on the testimony of Larry Demery who took a plea deal and testified against his childhood friend, Green. Green was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. 28 years later, the judge who sentenced Green to prison for life believes he was wrong, and wants to help get Daniel Green out of prison.
