After a grueling bidding war, Harvey Weinstein and Miramax scored the rights to Duffy's draft, granting the first time screenwriter $450,000 and the ability to direct his magnum opus.
Within a matter of months, Duffy's dreams would turn to ash in front of his eyes as his ego and his radical decisions help ruin cinema forever.
