Throne of Glass: Ch 1-7 Review & Analysis | Free-ish, Faerie Flowers, & the Glass Castle

Welcome to the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! We are so excited to kick off our deep dive of Throne of Glass with chapters 1-7.

We are introduced to Celaena Sardothien who has been a slave in the Salt Mines of Endovier for the past year. She is offered a chance at freedom by the Crown Prince of Adarlan, Dorian Havilliard. Celaena will compete as Dorian's sponsored competitor in a competition to become the king's champion, if she wins she must serve the King of Adarlan for a set period of time and then her name will be cleared and she will be granted her freedom. Celaena agrees and begins the journey to the Glass Castle where she tries to interact with the stoic and disciplined Captain of the Royal Guard, Chaol Westfall. They arrive at the Glass Castle where Celaena is cleaned and pampered and begins her preparations for the competition.
