353. Justin Van Hook (Ex Sleeping With Sirens)

Join Justin and I as we talk for the first time after being introduced to each other by mutual friend Matty Mullins. Listen as I kinda awkwardly explain that after a few years of people telling me I should have Justin on the show, that I didnt know who he was or that he was even in a band, but was a guy I saw around at shows and the bar pre/post show with friends. We then get into what it was like for Justin to leave touring behind and the adjustment process for him to adapt to "normal life" and who he was, and wanted to become. We also talk about deciding to live out in Muskegon away from the busier city life of Grand Rapids. Justin talks about how he doesn't really create/play music anymore and even though he dabbles in various aspects of music in building amps/cabs and pedals that he doesn't really ever want to pursue it as more than a hobby.  We reflect on unnecessary guitar and gear purchases, first guitars and bands that got us into playing instruments.
