371. Deron Miller (96 Bitter Beings / Ex CKY)

Deron Miller returns as the guest on the podcast. We talk about the literal meaning behind the bands upcoming album, Synergy Restored, and the journey it took to get this album out. I reflect on that with Deron from the last time he was on the show a few years ago when this was still an "in the works" album.

We talk about being true to yourself, the music industry now versus 20 plus years ago when CKY were at the height of their popularity, why Metallica didn't need the exposure from Stranger Things. Why Deron believes that more of our youth needs to get into rock/metal, and what he hopes for the genre moving forward.

We also talk about what it's been like for Deron to see the youth of today through his teenage kids. We then get into the weeds of the music business, and I blow Deron's mind with how much Naughty By Nature wanted to play a show and so much more in this chat.
