488. John Kevill (Warbringer)

Join John and I as we kick things off discussing how intentional the release date of the bands upcoming release, Wraith and Ruin coming out March 14th via Napalm Records, was.

From there we take a bit of a deep dive into the lyrical content of the album, how a lot of it touches on things that continuously happen over the course of our existence, but we seemingly don't learn from our past mistakes.

John talks about the struggles of putting out one of the groups most acclaimed albums and feeling that the band was on the verge of something big, only to have the pandemic take it all away, and how that really drove him to really up the ante lyrically on this album.
