British Murders with Stuart Blues
I tell the story of English serial killer Robert Maudsley in this episode.
Robert Maudsley murdered John Farrell, David Francis, Salney Darwood and William Roberts between March 1974 and July 1978.
John Farrell was the only victim of Robert murdered outside prison walls.
Robert is one of the few murderers who became serial killers in prison.
Robert has spent over 40 years in solitary confinement, and his custom-built two-cell unit in the basement of Wakefield Prison is similar to that of Hannibal Lecter in Thomas Harris' novel 'The Silence of the Lambs'.
He is known as Britain's most dangerous prisoner.
