”But Jesus Drank Wine” & Other Stories That Kept Us Stuck
When it comes to finding freedom from alcohol, you’ve probably heard of AA and rehab, but did you know that there are coaches, like us, who can help you discover the life that you’re longing for, and finally put wine in the rearview?!
In this episode we’re going to talk all about what exactly a freedom from alcohol coach does. We will talk about how coaching and therapy are different, and how they can work well either separately or in tandem. We also discuss what a “growth point” is and why you don’t need to be worried about slipping up when you’re in a coaching relationship with one of us. In fact, these instances can be valuably mined for data.
We also talk about how important it is to have an experimental mindset. You don’t have to start a coaching relationship saying “forever’” as long as you’re ready to get curious about your drinking- that’s enough. In fact, you don’t even need to stop drinking when you start coaching if you’re not ready. I know, crazy, right? We’ll explain why.
We also chat about the differences between group and 1:1 coaching, as well as the value of connection on this journey. We also answer the question, “how can I find the best coach for me?”
