The coterie was ordered to pay an ongoing 10 million dollars per month to the New Notte Nostra in exchange for New Haven’s safety. Everett tried to negotiate, threaten, and otherwise persuade Felix Sanguino into releasing them without committing to the deal, Doris and Val even offered to stay behind as collateral, but Evangeline managed to make a convincing false promise that they would start paying. But as they head home, who is pursuing them now?
