The Mayor of Chinatown: Wong Foon Sien

Through his life, Wong Foon Sien advocated for Chinese Canadians over voting rights, the ability to immigrate to Canada and the preservation of Chinatown in Vancouver. Along the way, he dealt with racism and a disregard for the Chinese Canadian causes he supported by municipal, provincial and federal leaders.
