We are starting a month of Voyage Tales - and the first one up is Brendan the Navigator, also known as the Voyage of Brendan. This brings us to a timeline after the fae and the magical god like people of Ireland, when a new belief was in the land.
Brandan was spiritual and keen to help his fellow man. He made a name for himself throughout the many voyages he undertook, across the British isles and many more far flung places. His journey to the Blessed Land is one that comes up in European texts, and yet the details of it are often different. Was there an island of demons throwing hell fire, did he see an island of sheep, and dogs, and did he ever really land on the Ameria’s?
We never let truth stand in the way of a good story all the same.
