He continues from this morning, his talk about the power that is available to every Christian through  the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.Scripture Ref: Genesis 26:15, 18, 19;  Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 2:38-39Topic: Baptism of the Holy SpiritNotes:- Doctrine of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is under attack- Abraham dug wells, Philistines later filled them so Israel could not drink, Isaac dug them out again- Our forefathers dug wells through prayer, expecting and believing and experienced the power of Pentecost- We see fakery and entertainment and pull away afraid to be associated- People will not come to the cross because of programs and opportunities that we offer, but by the spirit- The difference is apparent when preaching and music is anointed- Jabbering syllables does not compensate for unholy living- The experience must be preceded by repentance, brokenness, desire for holiness and purity- Tongues not for preaching the gospel but for glorification of God- Gift of the Spirit did not pass away; it is for us today- Men live in condemnation; we will always be tempted, but we can live victorious by the power of the Spirit- Crucify the flesh daily; don’t look at your weakness, but at His strength; it’s not about what you do for Him, but what He did for you
