Notes:- Paul heard reports of church keeping traditions, becoming religious- Emphasis on wisdom, knowledge, philosophy mixed with Christianity- Anything that detracts from Jesus will deceive- American Christianity is modern syncretism: prosperity,  seed-faith giving, traditions, human rights, politics- The same spirit that created universe and raised Christ is in you today- The spirit gives patience, longsuffering, joy, qualifies us to partake in the inheritance- God's children should not always feel guilty- Who controls you?- Everything is held together by the words of Jesus
