Notes:- We only deserve hell by our own deeds; through Jesus reconciliation- Uzziah prospered as long as he sought the Lord- Uzziah became prideful, entered temple to burn incense, bypassing the high priest; stricken with leprosy- Pride has a subtle, scheming way of entering our walk with God- God resists the proud; pride comes before a fall- The American church teaches people to have pride- After we’ve done all we are to do, we've done only our basic duty... we are unprofitable servants- We're never made worthy by what we do; cannot be our own priest- Come boldly with confidence in Jesus, not in ourselves- We cannot do all we're supposed to; need Jesus to represent us- We need brokenness, humility, repentance- Remember what He's done for us, not what we've done for Him
