- We grow impatient with God taking matters into our own hands- God called Abram to leave his land.  Wherever God took him, he built an altar and worshipped- Abram had a tent and an altar... a nomad, a foreigner...- When Abram arrived where God led him, he found trouble- With every promise there will be a problem- Trust God even in famine; stay where He appointed you- Abram went down to Egypt (world system) for help- Be prepared to wait on God- God tested the heart of Saul; Saul decided to do something himself- When we panic and act on fear we get less than God’s best
