- There is a common distrust of preachers- True ministers of the gospel love people but do not woo them- The pastor is to take care of the people; not vice-versa- False doctrines, teachers... crooks taking advantage- The local congregation is what God established, what people need...- The body of Christ must come together for church- “Don’t know how much longer I have”- Have a heart for the people under this ministry, can’t get away from it; it is part of the calling; a pastor always affected by the people- Must set an example; do as unto Christ.- Have begged people not to marry, go into business, move away...- The flesh is always bent towards sin; stay on your knees- Alcohol lowers inhibitions and old self rises up- Mid-life crisis, money, lust...- Sin... you don’t ever think it will get to this.    Servanthood
