- By God’s design... you are where He means for you to be right now- There are no such things as an accident, luck, chance, karma, fortune... God is sovereign- Hagar, Joseph, Moses...situations seem unfair but were ordered by God- God knew David would sin but called him anyway- Disciples, Jesus, apostles after resurrection... all tortured. - Why does God allow His children to face what we face? To show us that in each situation He is full in control- We think our sin disqualifies us or that God only moves for us when we are faithful- The more we realize how rebellious we are, the more he pours blessing on us- I’ve walked in fear that I haven’t repented and am incapable...- Repentance is to take it to Jesus; we don’t have the ability to never sin again- He knows what you feel- God led Israel to the Red Sea, an impossible place, so they could see who He is- You don’t understand now but someday you will know- You will face no temptation that is not common to man
