- The old you is dead, does not exist; let that become a reality- We came into the world dead because of sin- By the power of the Holy Spirit we were quickened when we heard the gospel and accepted, received and believed- We were dead to God and now are dead to sin, the law, the principles of the world- The law could not save us from our sins; only could highlight them- Jesus kept the law, fulfilled the law and gave us His righteousness- We are dead to the law and alive in Christ Jesus; no condemnation against us- We are in warfare but the war is won; He gave us His victory; I have eternal life- Don’t mix philosophy with faith- Don’t go back to what Christ already fulfilled: feast days, holy days...- I am a child of God, crucified with Christ, buried with Him (in baptism) and raised from the dead- If Jesus can save you from sin, any other problem is not even an issue- Jesus holds everything together- We have all done crazy, prayerless, careless things, but God is still there (if I make my bed in hell)- You may feel far from God, but God is not far from you
