- Every Christian suffers- It is denial of the scripture to say that if people are really walking by faith they will not suffer- We do not see as God sees- Suffering granted to us by God is proof that we are God’s- God is sovereign- The devil only does what God gives him permission to do; the devil has become the means by which our faith is increased- Stone quarry... where stones are hewn out of rock; the father is cutting...- Press toward the mark- Sometimes we suffer that the glory of God might be manifest- Don’t waste your sufferings by complaining, quitting, running... praise Him for it... tell Him to make you a willing vessal
