Notes:- Hardheadedness/shortsightedness of the apostles... always asking for more proof- People are looking for some experience beyond Jesus... there is nothing else- Faith is obedience; obedience proves faith, brings blessing- If you don’t follow in His footsteps, you don’t have faith- Christianity is a matter of knowing Jesus and obeying what He told us to do- The fruit of the spirit is not individual fruits but one fruit with many attributes- If you lack one part of the fruit then you lack them all- We like to apply only parts of God’s Word but we must take all of Jesus and all of the Scripture to walk in obedience- We mistake excitement for acceptance because we feel good (in church)- People walking in sin but acting like Christians; there is a reason we live in defeat- When divorce is common in the pulpit we have lost our authority to condemn the gay community- God set boundaries for our own safety, benefit, blessing- We compartmentalize sin; sin built you this way but He made a way out- God is with you wherever you are; God was with Joseph in prison, falsely accused
